Pros: Easy to use. Trustworthy parent company. Seller ratings increase chance of getting quality product.
Cons: Sometimes, though not often, sellers may misrepresent quality of various products--especially CDs.

Half.com is the cheapest online retail store (as far as I've seen anyway...). Items can be anywhere from Acceptable to Brand New. You can pick how you want it (Used or New). Their delivery is on time 95% of the time. S&H is is extremely cheap, though...

Cons: Cannot contact seller directly! Customer service not nearly adequate!
No buts about it, Half.com has some great qualities. You can find almost any book or movie for a great price, and the item usually arrives as described and in a timely matter. BUT when you have a problem, half.com does not seem eager to help.
