Harry & David is a respectable company. The "Outlet" and the "brokers" that sell for them are the worst! I believe Harry and David should be really aware of the reputation that is at stake because of the "other brokers that represent them. I thought I was dealing with Harry & David. I even recieved emails with their company name...and low & behold..it was a "outlet broker" and it was a terrible experience. The actual Harry & David company made good on the situation when it was brought to their attention.

the order took longer than i thought it would at first and when it arrived it arrived without the card, so the person receivied it did not know who it was from and had to call the company. i didn't like that. however, the plant did get there and it was in good condition so everything turned out alright.

Ordered pears for brother, my sister and brother in law on the 18th of Dec and expected Christmas delivery. Instead email said it would be delivered on 12/30. Not happy that it missed Chrismas but recipients did like th pears which was good since I spent over $75 for the two gifts. Jim Barton

I was very disapointed we were promised that the gift would arrive in time for easter, as yet is still hasn't arrived, although i did pay for express delivery. I will be making sure that the cost is not passed onto us and if it is i will be most anoyed. I also sent an e mail a week ago and still have had no reply Regards carmel.

The product was not delivered on mother's day as promised. Additional shipping was spent to guarantee delivery. Issues with UPS/FedEx caused to miss the delivery date. However, H&D responded immediately and exceeded my expectations. They credited the shipping, sent an appoligy to my Mom and myself, and included a $10 credit for future purchases. I will shop with them again.

Excellent as usual, but what I didn't know is that if I shop through a third party web-service, the order is delayed. The extra money I paid for express shipping didn't do me any good because it seems to take 2 days for the order processor to fax my order to Harry and David's. (And in this day and age, why on earth is a 2 day fax necessary when a split second instant e-mail would do the same job?) I wasn't told this up front and didn't appreciate it at all. However, the Harry and David's part in the process worked just fine, once they actually received the order.

Everything was great, except that I could not figure out how to track my order with the vendor. I had to set up an account before I could do anything, and then the order did not appear in my recent orders, probably because I signed up with the web site AFTER I ordered something.
