When I opened the box of the $600 Skate stroller I ordered, I realized a plastic piece was broken. I contacted them, spoke to someone who said she was going to set up a return with UPS. 4 days passed by and I called to see what was going on and realized that UPS was never contacted. A new customer service representative told me that I could not just return the stroller(although it came broken and I had yet to use it!) He said he would call Peg Perego to see if they would take responsibility. He did not call me back...so I called back again and he said that Peg Perego was not picking up and he left them a message and that he would call me back when they called him, then proceeded to hang up on me. I called Peg Perego myself and they picked up!! They are working with me to solve the issue. I am extremely dissapoined with the customer service and the fact they don't seem interested in solving my problem promptly or at all. I will never shop with them again!!

My girlfriend had gotten her fetal doppler from this company, and was satisfied, so I went ahead and did the same. I purchased the Hi-Bebe BT-200 from them. They included a free lotion, and free UPS ground shipping. It took 3 days to get to me, so no complaints on that. I have to admit, it took me alot longer to find the heart rate then I would have liked, but once I did, it came in strong. I would recommend this doppler (and healthcheck) to people in the future.

I was in the market for a new blood pressure monitor for my wife when I came across healthchecksystems.com. They were near the top for the lowest price on a OMRON HEM-780 digital blood pressure monitor. I already had bought one thru amazon.com, but it wound up being used, and non functional. That nightmare is for another review though.
I mainly picked healthchecksystems.com because of there closeness to me, as they are located in Brooklyn, NY and I live in Rego Park. Sure enough, it took one day for the thing to show up. I dont like that they use UPS as a carrier, but thats because of my personal hatred towards the shipper, not the supplier. The website seems to offer alot of things, even things that dont go together (baby stroller and a stethoscope? how about a $5,000 scale along with a playpen?) but everything is very easy to navigate, and the checkout process was secure and easy. In fact, I might get me one of them scales; I think I might opt for the lower cost one myself...:)
My wife was just diagnosed with diabetes and we needed a glucose monitor. Being of the older generation, ordering on the computer is new to me. When I was on the website I found what I was looking for right away and the order was easy to complete. After reviewing my order I realized I had put the incorrect address so I gave them a call. The gentleman that helped me was very polite and he corrected the mistake immediately. I received my order in less than a week. Very satisfied customer.

I ordered a Bumbleride Stroller from HealthCheck Systems because they were the only one I could find that still had a 2006 Bumbleride Rocket in the Ruby color. The picture they showed matched the 2006 model. They sent me the 2007 model that has different fabric. I was so disappointed since we only ordered this from the to receive the 2006 model. Clearly, their online store's description and pictures are not accurate. After reading all of their reviews, I decided it was safer to purchase the 2006 seat cover fabric from another store to replace the seat cover they sent us in error. The stroller itself is fine, but the seat covers fabric design was NOT. Would not do business again unless I had no other options. We ended up spending an extra $72 for the stroller pads and fabric, but I thought it was worth spending the money so that I didn't have to deal with their customer service. We did receive the stroller on time. We had it within one week.

Ordered Chicco Keyfit 30 infant car seat. After two weeks with no email of tracking number I called customer service. The person I spoke to was very nice and honest. He told me it was on back order and asked me my due date. He said that if they did not get it in by agreed date (between the two of us) that he would cancel the order and call me to let me know. I recieved the item less than a week later and he called me to make sure I recieved item and it was in good condition. I was very satisfied.

I ordered a Chicco stroller from them. When it didn't show 2 weeks later, I called to check the status of my order. They said it has been shipped from the factory, and they'll get me the tracking #. 2 days later still nothing. I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor. They gave me a number to call for the factory. I called the factory - they said they have not even received the order info from HealthCheckSystems (that's 2 weeks after I placed the order and after my cc has been charged). I told the factory what it is that I ordered and they said they'll be sending it out to me today. We'll see.

The instructions are minimal and my questions were not to be found in the manual
nor was calling Health Check Systems helpful. For instance, it mentions
nothing about the RS-232 output and there are no drivers or software for it. .The case is built around the RS-232 port and it leaves no room to connect a cable to it. So theres no option to see if Windows will recognize a connection. I called
Health Check Systems and I could get few honest answers from them.
I ordered a Clek booster seat online from this store. Was shown on my conformation that it was in stock and would ship within 24 hours. Seven days later I have still not received it, yet my credit card was billed. (I thought they couldn't bill till order was shipped) When I called they informed me it was on backorder???? Why was I not notified? They had no valid reason. They agreed to change the booster seat to a color they have in stock and ship today. They refused to upgrade shipping so I would have it in the time frame I needed it. Their excuse? It was on sale so we can't give any further discounts. If it had shipped in 24 hours I would have had it by now. Customer service rep was extremely rude. Manager named Marc I spoke to was even more rude. Will NEVER buy from them again.

Unlike many reviews, I received very good customer service. I called to check the status of an order (dreamer design rebound gst stroller) 3 days after the fact and was told I would receive a call back soon with the information. not 15 minutes later, my wife called me and said that she had received a call with our shipping number. 2 days later, we received the stroller. I was pleased with their followup and the fast processing of the order. The price was also the best I found. I would recommend this store.
Despite reports of poor customer service, my experience with HealthCheckSystems was extremely positive. I ordered the Chicco C1 Travel System on a Saturday and the item was shipped the following Monday. I did have to email and ask for a tracking number, but it was supplied on the same day of my request. Email correspondence prior to placing the order was also prompt and accurate. The boxes showed up a little beat up, but the contents were no worse for the wear. I have nothing bad to say about my experience with HealthCheckSystems. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future if the price was right.

I ordered a breast pump for my wife from HealthCheckSystems and was extremely displeased when it arrived: the factory seal was broken. Upon removing the contents we discovered pencil markings on the pump indicating that it indeed was used. This is unfortunate because my wife needed a pump immediately because she had returned to work and if she does not pump she may lose her milk.
Although HealthCheckSystems web site states "All Ameda breastpumps are BRAND NEW and come in the manufacturer's factory sealed box" this was clearly not true in this case.
I found healthchecksystems.com on google when I was searching for a stethoscope. I found they had the DRG one that I had been looking for. I ordered from their site, and got my product in about a week. Packaging was good, item was in great condition.

I bought a set of Tanita scales from this company. The exact model number is the HD-351. Its a white bathroom scale. The site seems to have alot of items, from scales to baby products. The scale I got works good, and it comes with a 10 year manufacturer warranty. When I get weighed at the doctors office, I am 177. On this scale, Im either 177 or 178. Id say I am satisfied.

I was a little skeptical about ordering from Health Check, due to the horrific reviews they have received here. However, they did have the lowest price on my car seat, so I gave them a shot. Ordered over the phone on Tuesday, and they quoted me a 4 day ship time. I actually received the item in 2 days, and it was in perfect condition. As far as I am concerned, this company gets an A+ in my book.
I bought a blood pressure monitor from there, and I think they had good service. The model I purchased was an OMRON HEM-780. I got my product pretty quickly, and they sent me a follow up email asking for my feedback on this site. Seems they are going through a change in personal, and they are trying to set things right. If I had seen these reviews before, I wouldnt have ordered from them. But overall I had a pretty normal experience.

We were taken in by the low advertised price for a Burley Piccolo trailer-bike. We ordered online and spent the next few days waiting for an email reply. Within a week, we were told that the item was back ordered and would ship on the 7th of May. Today, May 9th, I called again to inquire about our order. We were told that it would now ship on May 20th (estimated).
Nevermind. Order cancelled.
I suspect that they take orders until they can bulk order with a large discount. In any case, our frustration and greater than a month of waiting was not worth saving $25.
We are going to REI today anyway. Never again to these folks.
Avoid Health Check Systems unless you like paying for things and never actually receiving the product. Our local MHMR agency ordered a bike trailer for our disabled son so he could enjoy bike rides with his family instead of staying home with a babysitter. Health Check Systems cashed the check from MHMR, but never sent us the bike trailer. They promised to overnight the bike trailer to us last Friday. It is Wednesday of the following we and we still have not bike trailer!!! The company has even failed to return calls at this point to the MHMR agency that paid for the bike trailer!!! We are so frustrated and want other people to not have to feel the same way.

I found HealthCheck on Google when I searched for baby monitors. They had the model I wanted, at the right price. I got the Summer Infant 900mhz color baby monitor. I had seen it at Babies R Us, but it was over two hundred bucks, and I was NOT prepared to spend that much. I found it online for 20 dollars cheaper, as well as no tax. Good deal in my book. I ordered online, got free shipping, and got my monitor in about a week. I was hoping it would get here sooner, but Im pretty happy about the whole thing.

Purchased a bathroom scale from this store. I had bought several from local drug stores, but they are cheap, and tend to fall apart. This time I spend the few extra bucks and got a quality scale. Solid construction on it, and a large enough base so my larger feet dont hang off the sides (size 12). It came in about a week from UPS, and I couldnt be happier with it. I got an email confirming my order, and then another with a tracking number from UPS.
I do wish I was a little happier with the numbers on the scale; they need to make a scale that lies to you once in a while.
I bought a baby bjorn expensive baby carrier from this Healthcheck systems off on Amazon. Warning to all...you get what you pay for...My order came in the wrong color, box was crushed (not shipping box the internal package)smelled like smokers were handling it and looked like a return.

I ordered a "Medela Pump In Style Traveller Breastpump" from HealthCheckSystems. A few days later, I found the same item at a lower price from the Little Folks. Since HealthCheckSystems had a "Lowest Price Guarantee", I tried to get a refund of the difference. However, they refused to honoring their "Lowest Price Guarantee":
"Sorry we can not honor that price because its below our cost"
I would not order from HealthCheckSystems again because they are dishonest and their "Lowest Price Guarantee" was a false advertising.

I will not recommend this store to anyone! I tried to order a Mountain Byggy, and have experiences poor service. The order is still not shipped 6 weeks after I placed the order, and still I do not get any clear answer on when they will ship the order. I have contacted the sales appartement several times, but they never seem to give me any clear answers.

My experience with Healthchecksystems is not good. They pull you in with a low price offer, they bill your credit card with remarkable speed, and then the line goes dead. There is virtually no way to track your order, to know how it is being shipped, or if it is being shipped.
When I call the customer service number I am on hold for a long time and then it goes to one of those automated message machines that promises that someone will call you. I give them my cellphone and no one calls.
Still waiting for news of my order of a Burley Trailer. It has been 2 weeks with no information and no response from the company. I googled healthchecksystem scam thinking maybe this was one of those fake sites that look so real but just eat your money. It is somewhat reassuring to know that others have ordered from them... but where is my order? $190 out there somewhere and nothing to show for it.
I ordered a glider and ottoman. The order was delivered on time but with the wrong item. Also there was a punch on the side of the glider. The glider was not appropriately packed so the boxes were broken and the glider was dirty. Because HealthCheckSystems sent me the wrong item, I called the customer service and the lady asked me to send pictures to approve that I received a wrong item. I sent the pictures and then the lady asked me about the item number on the boxes. I told her that I throw the boxes away because they were so dusty. The lady immediately e-mail me back stated that if I don't have the original boxes they cannot help me. I have ordered many products on-line but this is a ridiculous company. stay away from it if you can.

Very poor ordering & shipping process. I placed a $500 dollar order for a stroller from them. I was promptly charged and notified the order would ship in 24 hrs. Tracking number or notice of shipment were not sent after 3 days.
I sent an email requesting status on the order/shipment and they never replied. I called & they claimed they couldn't find the shipping information in the system and no-one was in from shipping, but they would contact me with shipping information the next day. I wasn't contacted & ended up calling them back (they claimed phones & computers were down all day).
I did get the shipping number, which showed they shipped the order after I called them the first time. I've lost a bit of faith and hope everything arrives as advertized.
Placed an order on 11.10.09 -called 11.16.09 to follow up on delivery and foundout -they never ship my order(nobody even called me).Finally they shiped on 11.18.09 but the baby shower is on 11.21.09 and i am going without gift!Makes you wonder-do i want to order from HealthCheck System again-NEVER!!!

Looking for a particular doll buggy for my granddaughter on Dec. 17th. Found it on the Health Check Systems website. While other companies said it would arrive after Christmas, HCS said it would ship in 24 hours. It was less expensive here, shipping for this 22 lb. toy was free and it arrived on the 22nd. Great service! Will go there first next time.

When the company first processed my credit card, it was declined. I got a very pleasnt email informing me of that. I called Customer Service and spoke to a very polite and helpful gentleman who checked the number and expiration date, which were correct, then ran the card again. I guess that in themselves Healthcheck Systems were okay but the problem is that the product I bought from them was drop shipped and they did not indicate on the web site to the best of my knowledge that this would be the case. Because the item was drop shipped they really had no control over delivery and I find that to be and issue with drop shippers.
I guess as a result I didn't receive notification of who the carrier was or a tracking number to know the status of my order. I only received an immediate order confirmation from Healthcheck Systems. When I wrote an email to enquire what was happeing with the order no-one responded!
I eventually called and was greated by polite people but I did have to call twice in order to get a proper status update.
I understand that free shipping was provided but I don't think that voids a vendors' obligation to keep a customer notified of the status of the order and ensure that delivery is carried out in a timely manner.
The product itself is great and arrived within a week and a half which is not too bad of a delivery time but sadly I do have an issue with drop shipping and particularly when I am not informed that the company I am purchasing from doesn't have stock and is drop shipping.
I personally prefer not to buy from companies that drop ship and therefore this would be my primary reason not to buy from Healthcheck Systems again. Read more

It's been 9 business days (11 total) since I placed the order. With the exception of the initial e-mail confirming receipt of the order, I've heard nothing. I ordered from 5 different places on the same day; this is the only item I have yet to receive. All other items ordered (even engraved items) were sent in a very timely fashion. It is also the only company that does not allow you to track the progress of your order. An e-mail sent to the company asking for status was not answered promptly. My tracking order was there at first but then my whole order vanished from the computer and I could not see it anymore. Thus I had to call customer service to get it. Would have been nice to not have to call.

Healthcheck didn't have the item that they were selling on their site. All I got was a very generic email saying they didn't have the item I ordered. They didn't even put any info as to what the item was or the order it pertained to. I had to look in my past orders file to match up the vendor name just to find out what it was I purchased that they weren't able to fulfill. Their confirmation email of my purchase arrived promptly; however, the follow-up in regards to when the item was to be shipped was awful. I had to call three times to get an answer and then was told that I would need to call again if I wanted to get a tracking number for the item. Read more
