Pros: Prices on most items are very competitive.
Cons: 3 day shipping took 5 days.
My experience with Musicians Friend was essentially a positive one except that the shipping took longer than advertised. Some of this is probably due to the time of year as December is a very busy month for UPS.
The web site is well designed...

Iput my order in on a Sat & had it shipped standard, expecting delivery by Fri or Sat( according to the quoted 2-5 day delivery) Then i was informed I wouldn't be receiving it until Wed. If I had known their 2-5 days was actually 10-12 days I would have paid the extra shipping & had it in 2 days (which more than likely would have turned into 5-7) I'm not happy.

I have ordered from muscians friend twice recently spending a total of about $600. Both times either stuff was missing or the item didnt work. I will not order from them again.
On the item where stuff was missing it took them well over a month to respond to my complaint and even then did not send all the pieces. I got fed up and just went and bought the drum head they kept not sending me. they used to be great but have really slipped in my opinion.they lost a customer.

Ordered a Gibson Hound Dog round neck Dobro on Monday. Website tracking page showed it as "being packed" on Tuesday morning and "shipped" Tuesday evening. This was a ground delivery to Canada, so I expected to wait a couple of weeks. On Thursday I sent an email because no tracking number had been posted yet. On Friday afternoon the guitar and accessories arrived, in good condition. Overall I am very pleased with the item and the service I got from Musician's Friend.
