Pros: Excellent prices if you're careful what brand you purchase.
Cons: Received wrong item, returns are a hassle.
"You get what you pay for" is the saying that comes to mind when you look at buying from Overstock.COM. Think of it as an online thrift store and you will better know what to expect.

i found the books easily, ordering was easy, i received the books within a week - it was a hassle free experience and i would order again from overstock.com - the only reason we wouldn't is if our email or home address is sold to other vendors and we start receving catalogs or offers -so please please do not sell our email or home address - thank you

I've bought several things now. This was the first return--defective DVD. While it came fast, the return process is laborious once you send it...wait two days for us to look at it, another four to send it back out, etc. In total, something I purchased over two weeks ago is something I still don't have a good one of in my hands. I'd think twice about ordering DVDs from overstock again.

This was the first time I actually purchased something from Overstock.com, even though I'd been receiving emails from and browsing on the site for years. I have to say it was one of the top two online merchants that I've had the pleasure of purchasing from. The item I ordered was the cheapest online, and I was emailed the tracking number and ship date so I had an idea of when the product would be delivered and it was delivered on the exact date given. The item was packaged tightly and had no flaws. I would definately recommend the site to family and friends.
