I use them as a main source of "window" shopping and when I find items I like I purchase them. I find them to give great deals on shipping which is an important selling point.

I called 30 minutes after placing the order and tried to cancel. Wasn't allowed. Then I had to pay for shipping the item back and it cost half of what I paid for the total item. Then I had to return my daughter's feather bed, so between the both I'm out over a hundred dollars. Not a happy camper. I won't ever purchase a large item from you all again.

I made the online purchase - used a debit/credit card, adn the following day, I got an email indicating that the purchase had been shipped via UPS. I was given a tracking number - and tracking indicated that it had been courriered from UPS to a Post Office some distance away and from there it followed regular US MAil chanels.....
I think that it could have been more expedient (adn perhaps less expensive) to ship it EITHER by mail or by USPS, I failed to see the value in teh combined shipping effort.....However, it arrrived in a VERY rteasonable length of time - intact and perfect.

?THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT ARRIVED DAMAGED. THE ORIGINAL ITEM WAS
RETURNED ON THE SAME DAY THE REPLACEMENT ITEM ARRIVED. THE
REPLACEMENT THAT ARRIVED WAS A 1800 PSI PRESSURE WASHER. THE
REPLACEMENT WAS REFUSED AND RETURNED. THE SECOND EPLACEMENT WAS NEVER SHIPPED. THE E-MAIL CONFIRMATION OF THE SECOND REPLACEMENT WAS NEVER SENT/RECEIVED. YOU HAVE HAD USE OF MY MONEY FOR THREE WEEKS AND I HAVE NOTHING! CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID TODAY ANOTHER REPLACEMENT WILL BE SHIPPED "ASAP." THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE PROMISED TO PROVIDE E-MAIL CONFORMATION OF OUR 5 AUGUST TELEPHONE CONVERSATION AS WELL AS CONFIRMATION OF THE REPLACEMENT ORDER AND ITS SHIPMENT. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCES TO DATE, I HAVE LITTLE OR NO CONFIDENCE THAT I WILL IN FACT RECEIVE THE PRODUCT ORDERED!

I found the items very quickly on Overstock.com. One item which was an audio CD was out of stock and when I was notified that it was available, I went on to overstock.com and it said it was still out of stock. Other than that, everything was very good.

I can not believe that I waited so long to use this service. The merchandise is of the best quality, the descriptions - such as color, size, material, etc. are very detailed. The shipping and handling fees make it easier to order as many items as possible without having to wonder how much is going to be added to your credit card for the postage. Items arrive very quickly. I've recommended this service to several of my friends and relatives and I will definitely continue to use it.
