I bought a sterling silver locket. Unfortunately, it was not the same as indicated on the pictures on their website. I called the company and they said that they would authorize a return and that a Return Authorization label would be sent to me via email. I received an email confirming this would happened but NEVER received the actual email with the Return Authorization label. Since then I have responded back and the company is doing absolutely NOTHING.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU JUST HAVE MONEY TO BLOW! BECAUSE YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL GET....

total buyer beware with this company. I purchased two twin mattress and on a whim added in mattress covers since it was convenient. I added overnight shipping so my kids would have the beds.

Guess what was shipped overnight? ... The mattress cover. Guess what took nearly 2 weeks to get? Yep, the mattresses. So I paid about $30 for overnight shipping for the covers, which was way more than the cost of the product and totally worthless without the mattresses.

The customer service rep was obstinate and patronizing, and refused to refund my shipping costs. I spent hundreds of dollars with them, and they lost all my future business.  I am still so mad thinking about how inconvenienced we all were and what a sucky experience all around. 

Watch out!!! I have been waiting 60 days for a refund and have yet to get it. They have the product back and I have no money refunded. I filed a complaint with the BBB on them. I have also found that it is best to compare their prices around especially to Ebay. Only thing that they have is low shipping. I bought a battery for a Sony digital Handicam and then found it on Ebay for less than 1/2 the price. No more Overstock for me. Save some money and do a web search.

terrible, they send you what you don't order. It's like they have an abundance of crap and you click the size or quantity you want and after you pay, when you get your confirmation the size or quantity has changed to what was in their box to beging with when you look at an item. Stay away from these people, they are out to rip you off!!!!!!

I find it difficult to believe all the bad comments about overstock.com. I have been shopping here for the past year and have yet to have had a bad experience. Shipping is always quick, returns easy and the discriptions are excellent providing you read them properly and dont just skim over the details.

Ordered a refurbished ipod, arrived when they said but it would not charge and I had to return it.  If you get the protection plan with something and it doesn't work out of the box, they don't allow you to send it in to be fixed, you have to get a refund.  Really sucked in my case because it probably just needed a new battery.  Be careful ordering mp3 players from them!

I ordered a language training cassette program from overstock.com and was disappointed. It was described as a new item. When I got the package the condition was not new. Plastic case was vary dirty and the cassettes were scratched up, also someone had half way rewinded some of the cassettes. It was clearly in used condition. This is vary different from the other sets I have bought elsewhere, that were all clean and in new condition. The only good point was that the price was cheaper than other places that I checked. I will not buy from overstock in the future because of this deception. The condition of the product was not as described. I do not trust this retailer.

This company is one of the unscrupulous that charges before shipping. I will only do business with these companies once and that's it. Than I have had problems with their shipping because I have a Post Office Box. Do not like this company and once you click that's it ... wait at least a month or so for the whole process to get your money back on the cc.Besides all this their prices are not at all that special either.

I recently ordered what was described as a queen-size comforter set from Overstock.com. When I received it, I tried it on my bed and it was no where near the correct size. I immediately repackaged it and returned it to the company. Several days later, I received an email indicating that they were only going to allow a refund of $25.54. I paid $65.99. They claimed that the item was not restockable due to them having found some hair on it. This was absolutely ridiculous and I immediately contacted one of their "customer service" representatives. They did not back down from their decision. I will no longer conduct business with them and will be pursuing legal action in accordance with my state's consumer protection act.  They should really be ashamed of their business model. It's despicable.

On 4 separate occasions I have tried to order items from overstock.com. Only one time was my order completed and shipped. 3 other times, they canceled and refunded my money without contacting me. I was not aware until i signed in to check the status. They constantly advertise items that are not available. On another occasion, I was sent the wrong color and then told that the correct item was sold out. Then they wanted me to lug this 80lb table to UPS and send it back. They are too big for their own good and do not keep accurate up to date inventory. It needs to be linked to the website on a real-time basis.
They never reply to my inquries and often ignore my gripes.
Most of the time their prices are not bargain basement. If you look at the price of certain items still being sold in stores you will see.
I have given them one too many chances.

I would never do business with them again and either should you unless you want to get taken! I bought two items that were a matched set as a gift. Both were advertised as in stock. Well, I payed for them and a couple of days later I got an Email telling me that they were sorry they no longer had one of the items but they had shipped the other one! Well,thanks a lot because they went together. In order for me to get credit I had to retrieve the gift from across the country and send it back. Thanks but no thanks. By the time I did that and payed for the shipping I'd have spent more then I did in the first place. I think they bank on that. They should not have sent it without the entire thing being in stock as advertised. I think they do this in order to dump items on unsuspecting fools like myself. DON'T BUY THERE! Customer service offered a $5 credit, JOKE!
