-I ordered music & received an e mail confirming my order from Sheet Music Plus (SMP) on 9/3/07. On 9/5/07 I received an e mail stating my package had been shipped Budget Delivery via US Postal Service - usually 1-3 wks. to reach its destination". ...

I've ordered from Sheet Music Plus several times and never had a problem. The orders have always been filled accurately and timely status / tracking is provided via email. Recently, I ordered some sheet music that I needed fast and requested overnight shipping. Sheet Music Plus shipped the order within 24 hours but unfortunately used DHL next day air so the package didn't arrive for over a week. I sent an email to Sheet Music Plus customer service to advise them of the notoriously poor performance of DHL. Within a couple of hours they responded with full shipping refund (which they'll probably never recover from DHL). It's nice to deal with a company that has a responsive customer service department. Great job sheet music plus!

I wish I had read this before ordering! I ordered Christmas music for my daughter on 11/10.  I was told that it should arrive in 1-3 weeks. Well, after 3 weeks I wrote and asked where it was. They said I had to wait another  2 weeks before they could do anything. After two  more weeks they said they would re-ship.
It is now 5 weeks after the purchase and nothing!!!!!!

I think all of us  who  have had this experience should file a complaint against these guys. I have to wonder if they ever plan to ship at all.  It is very telling that all the comments on this site are about the same thing and no  one has ever recieved their product.

I am a customer in Brazil. I ordered sheet musics on 4/4/2007 and the order (# 04042007093050721130)was shipped only on 04/13/07 via Standard Air Mail. It took too long. Today (5/7/2007, one month later), I haven't received my order yet. It is very strange. I think it got lost... So, I asked them what was going on with my order and they said that it was not trackable and I have to wait another 2 weeks for the product and if it does not arrive, contact them again... Can you imagine that? almost 2 months then.. And what they will do? When will I have the sheet musics? Tree months later? I don't want refunds, because I need the product.

I don't know if they're trying to improve their image or if I just got lucky, but my experience with Sheet Music Plus was just this side of perfect.

They have a HUGE selection of music to choose from, and when I placed my order they were offering free shipping for orders over $25. How could I resist? I admit, I was expecting the worst after reading some reviews about their slow service and seeing their own estimated shipping time of 2-4 weeks. Still, I wasn't in a huge rush to get my music so I was willing to wait (hey, you can't be too picky with FREE shipping).

I ordered my books on Wednesday, got an email on Thursday saying they had been shipped, and by Monday I had the books in my hands. It couldn't have been quicker! The books and sheet music are in great shape too -- no bent corners or little tears like you sometimes see in books off the rack in music shops.

I can't guarantee the same results for anyone else, but after my own experience I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sheet Music Plus to anyone looking for music on the web.
