Sierra Trading Post

Sierra Trading Post has a service charge for returns. My wife ordered performance long underwear which were the wrong size. Price was $9.95. When we returned them for a refund they charged us $5.25 return charge. I don't know of any other company who does this. I will never buy from them again.

Big brands, great prices, easy returns. Only problem is you'll receive a junk email every day from them even after you unsubscribe from their mailing list.

I'm a single guy who doesn't like to shop, so this experience was awesome. Excellent web page shopping, great descriptions, products were as described. Had to return one item that was defective but it was a smooth painless experience. The Customer service rep was outstanding. Is everyone in Wyoming that nice ??? I have emailed everyone on my email list to let them know about you guys.....thats about 60 people. The girls in my office loved my silk underwear....it was a big hit....if only I had known how easy it would be to impress them. You now have at least one loyal customer with about 60 potential ones. Keep up the good work, stay on track and be careful when you improve something that already works well. You guys have hit the nail on the head.....congratulations.

I will not buy from them again. I bought a pair of sunglasses, received them in a timely fashion but they did not fit. I paid $7.95 shipping and then had to pay another $5.95 to return them.

Unless you've seen what you want from another source and are positive of the size and color, be warned that shipping will be so expensive it's not worth it. I saw a blouse I liked for $20.00 but am not going to be faced with shipping costs of over half the cost of the blouse if I have to return it.

Don't ever order from here, unless you don't mind waiting a month for your package. I purchased a wetsuit, and paid a typical shipping price of around $8. This should have been plenty to ship UPS or FedEx, but instead, they ship it USPS parcel post. It's been over two weeks now, and I still have no package. The post office says they didn't ship it, they said they did. Calling them isn't helping, they won't do anything for 21 business days, that is about 4 weeks! By the time I get my package it will be too cold for this suit anyway. Their customer service is very unhelpful, after calling and giving my complete information and being assured it will be looked into, when I call back days later they seem to have no memory of my previous call and have done nothing. I would never order from here again.

They took over 2 weeks to ship my order. They finally contacted me after I emailed them and ordered shipped about 4 days later. I tried contacting them a second time but they have not responded.

I have ordered from Sierra Trading Post many times. Every time I am pleased with my order. Product descriptions are accurate. Prices are almost always lower than competitors. And in my experience, their customer service has ranged from good to superb.

The last couple of years I have been doing most of my shopping on-line, and SierraTradingPost.com definitely gives the best shopping experience. They have an excellent customer service: very helpful live chat, and a great on hassle return policy.
And did I mention that their prices are great too. Delivery has always been on time.
If I need to buy something, SierraTradingPost.com is the first place I check.

Sierra Trading post is an awesome company with amazing customer service. I have been ordering from them for several years now, and love their amazingly low prices on outdoor gear. But recently, they showed me how awesome they are. UPS supposedly delivered my package of 200 bucks worth of merchandise to my front door while we were home. Without knocking. It was either never delivered or was stolen from our front porch, or stolen by the driver. At the very least the driver lied about what time it was delivered, since we were home. Sierra Trading Post replaced the entire order, and reshipped it signature required. No questions asked.

I've purchased three Terramar silk men tee-shirts from Sierra trading post.

A few days after my order I received three silk tee-shirts like the ones I had ordered.

The price was very good, the delivery was quick and customer service was reactive.

So I can only recommend Sierra Trading Post.

I ordered a pair of mocs in a size 13 from Sierra Trading Post.  They sent me a size 12. I returned that pair only to receive the incorrect size again.  This time I had to buy a box to return the shoes, but was reassured the third attempt would be successful and sent the next day. Three days later I called the company to check the status of my order and found out the ticket had not been processsed and they were no longer in stock.  Then they called me that night to tell me they had a pair in wide available and I said that was fine.  Five minutes later they called again and said those were not actually available.  Prepare to be disappointed.

NO OTHER store can compare with Sierra. They have credited my account with $500.00 from items that went on sale within 14 days of purchase. The latest sale - Labor Day - had me saving an average of 85% off retail - with some items a whopping 93% off!!
Craft, Sportif, Terremar and other High-End brands are not available anywhere else at these prices.

Always a great shopping experience, always amazed by the values I find at this retailer. Everything from very nice dress clothes to outdoor adventure clothing and equipment. STP has become the FIRST website I check when looking for new clothing and gear!

STP is absolutely one of my favorite companies. They have given me the greatest customer service I can find, and I continually order from them and find everything EXACTLY as described!
Of all my orders, they only messed up one of them (not a big deal), and promptly overnighted me the correct order before I even sent them back the incorrect order. On top of that, they even gave me a discount for my next purchase to say "sorry".
So, I am continually amazed at how well they treat their customer and also the quality and price of their products.
