On-line ordering went smoothly. Slow acknowledgement of order and longer than expected delay in shipping notice. Supposed "order tracking" was useless both on-line and with telephone call to the so-called "Customer Service". Delivery will require my presence to accept but I am unable to find out the status of shipping or its arrival so that I can make arrangements to be there. If they're going to advertise and promote the customer's ability to track their order, they should be required to deliver on that promise. With the efficient and timely order tracking available today from other vendors, this type of "service" is unacceptable. I would even have been willing to pay extra for shipment if I could have been assured that the process would work efficiently. Given my good prior experiences with on-line ordering from Home Dopot, I was both surprised and disappointed with the entirety of this transaction. I hope Home Depot takes steps to correct this gross deficiency in their otherwise worthwhile products and services. Read more

As of today I still have not received my merchandise (patio umbrella). I have not received any emails indicating that this item is on backorder. In my opinion I feel this service is unacceptable. interaction with home depot personnel over the phone was excellent. however, delivery personnel abrupt and unprofessional. the installer - was abrupt when responding to my concern about the dishwasher appearing to look like a cleansteel rather than stainless steel (we ordered stainless steel) stating it was stainless steel rather than taking a minute to look at the appliance and respond to my concern. (he was also on his cell phone the entire time-which sounded like personal calls to me. the second delivery employee "told" me to tip the original dishwasher ( the one that was replaced) onto his dolly. (with no expression on his face - as if i was supposed to help) - definitely not your typical home depot employee!
spoke with approximately seven (7)G.E./home depot customer service center employees before a phone number was given to me to set up an appt. for someone to come out to my home to look at the dishwasher door - which looked like clean steel and did not have the charateristics of stainles steel. I was given an appt for friday, sept 16th - between 8am-12noon. around 11am on the appt day, i hadn't heard from the service tech - so i called the service center again and spoke with nathan who told me the appt had been reschedule to tuesday, sept. 19th between 8am-12noon because a part had been ordered for the dischwasher. again, i was taken back by the fact that i had not been contacted by anyone to reschedule the appt. i have an answering machine and i am home during the day unless there is a doctor's appt, etc. i feel it necessary to report this to home depot to make it known that although the purchasing experience was delightful with all questions answered by your online telephone service center. --- the deilvery and customer service after purchase has been less than acceptable and a disappointment! i hope the problem with the dishwasher is resolved as soon as possible - so that i may put this not so pleasant experience by me. Product did arrive in good condition, however the package was EXTREMELY damaged. We were concerned about the product, but the manufacturer had done a good job of packing it. Shipping company had apparently handled it roughly. Read more

WE have not received our funiture and it has been 4 weeks. We have only received the cushions, however our creidt card was charged in full for all purchases. I had to call Home Depot Online to track the funiture. It was only then that I was told it was waiting to be shipped. No calls or online tracking makes it very frustrating. We are very disappointed with the online service and in the future would not use it. Read more
