Don't trust this store!

They emailed me that the order was processed and shipped, then when the supposed delivery date of the product came they sent another email saying that the product was out of stock.

Sounds fishy to me, so I went some place else to order.

Don't trust them, buy some place else.

I was reluctant at first to use Tiger Direct. I have to say reading these reviews helped build my confidence. I always want to know what the fine print is.

I ended up purchasing two PC, digital camera, several upgrades for memory, video card, etc at Tiger Direct and have been 100% satisfyed. Sometimes the UPS tracking system isn't working, but overall they have been professional.

Their agents seem to have a lot of information at their fingertips and can most importantly walk you through the website to find information yourself to confirm what they are saying. This is a nice thing.

The rebates take a lot of time and are a main reason for the better deals at Tiger Direct. You have to really dedicate an hour with a copy machine to pull it all together. I've done probably 12 and they have all eventually come through. It would be great if Tiger Direct created a system in their online store to track them for you more intentionally. I got 1/2 through paypal, 1/2 through checks in the mail (which take A LOT LONGER).

I received a gift from Tiger Direct for Christmas (December 25) and tried to exchange it on January 2. They wouldn't let me because it was purchased on 11/30/2006. I would have had to return it by December 30...so essentially they have a five day return policy. THEN, when I asked to speak to a supervisor and asked for the employees name he HUNG UP on Me... I would absolutely warn you against purchasing anything from this company.

Tigerdirect.com is the hot-spot for all of your computer needs, with easy shopping and shipping, wonderful customer service, and a wide selection of quality products. The website is very easy to navigate and they give detailed descriptions and photos of their products and they have reasonably good prices. They usually ship within forty eight hours and the product shows up at your door safe and sound packed with air filled bags to protect the sensative contents. One word of warning: check the manufactuare's website because they will probibly have a better price for a better product.

This provider is the worst you can utilize to buy anything from. They lack customer service and act like they are the only sellers in the world. Do not buy anything from them if you want to have a satisfactory experience

I can say enough about how pleasurable it is to shop with Tiger Direct. They have the best price on products, the most user friendly format on their website to find products, and real fast delivery. I have order over 10 times from them and I have always received what I ordered super fast.

I have ordered two times from TigerDirect.ca. Both times was a miserable experience in customer service and problems w/ the product. The first product was a router that did not work. the 2nd item ordered was a case/mobo/power supply combo. The case ordered was blue, I recieved black. The mobo ordered was a a Dragon Ultra kt600 I recieved a Dragon Pro kt600. One of The Wires on the MOBO is taped together-Very unprofessional!
I have phoned, left emails and no response from TG.CA. it has been over a month and no response. I have sent them copies of my receipt, sent polite emails and left polite phone messages. Avoid Tigerdirect.ca. I ordered my product late dec 2003, it is now end of Feb!

I had put in an order for a laptop on this website. When I tried to check the status on the laptop I realized that they had it on hold and the product had not been released. I called them and after being on hold for almost an hour spoke to the customer service agent. I thought the problem had been resolved. However, when I checked the next morning the laptop was still on hold. I called again and the person said he could release it that day. I needed the laptop the second day and had asked for a 2 day delivery. However, because of the delay I now needed a 1 day delivery. Since Tiger Direct had messed up my order I hoped he could send it to me in a day without my having to pay an additional amount. The person put me on hold and the line disconnected. When I checked my order status again the order had been completely cancelled. I never got that laptop.

I've purchased many computer products online and I must say that Tigerdirect.com has been quite easy to deal with. They have name brand products at reasonably affordable prices. Once ordered through their online order system, my order arrives at my door within the timeframe they quote. For me, this is usually 3-7 days via UPS Ground.

I've had no occasion to use their customer service -- all products have work thus far!

Lately they spam you with apparently excellent deals on thumbdrives, but they're brokering the kind of deal where you have to send in lots of rebate paperwork. One of my rebates was expired by the time the thumbdrive got to me, in response to the other one, I got a postcard MONTHS later saying that I had photocopied the bar code instead of sending the original. I can't remember whether I did or not, but I'm generally pretty good about following the instructions when $'s at stake. So I paid 50 bucks for my thumbdrive, cause I can't find the receipt to return it!

I ordered via phone per the instructions on the website for the digital camera I wanted. I was told I would have my order in two business days, GUARANTEED. The next day I used my order number to track it on their website ... lo and behold, my items were on back order and the order summary also showed "no returns permitted". I was never advised about the return policy when I was placing the order. When I called Customer Service, I got a song and dance about just missing the inventory when I placed the order. This was the day before Thanksgiving. They wanted me to check back with them on the Tuesday AFTER Thanksgiving as they were "expecting a BIG shipment on Black Friday". After discussing the situation with my husband, we decided to cancel the order and try elsewhere. By the way, ten days after Thanksgiving, the camera still shows "back order".

In the beginning there was Tiger Direct. Their glossy catalogs, slick product descriptions, decent prices were the cat's meow to all us budding computer geeks.
Then came the internet as we know it with all it has to offer but Tiger did not keep pace with the competition.
With Newegg.com and other quality online retailers,Tiger has fallen by the wayside.
They sell substandard parts at high prices,foist off expired rebates and pawn cheesy assembled systems to the masses.The shipping is high and customer support non existant.It's best to go elsewhere for your computer needs than this place.

Good prices. Items are sometimes 'unique', like memory that won't run at any speed but the posted. The descriptions call out the limitation, but you have to be paying attention.

Latest thing that will drop them off my vendor list: they sent a 'free' eTrust Internet Security Suite 30 day trial. The invoice says if I don't cancel, I will automatically be charged for service at the end of the trial. There is no indication given on the invoice or ISS packaging *how* to cancel.

Pfeh.

Ordered some parts from TigerDirect and after I received the email invoice I noticed they overcharged me $100 for spyware software i never ordered. When i tried to cancel the order i had to talk to about 5 different people and waste about an hour on hold before they would cancel it.

TigerDirect rebates are a scam too. I sent in two different rebates both twice and not one of the four rebates was received. This should be illegal, complete waste of my time and money.

Ordered 2 printers on 2 orders, lost one order, shipped one could not be traced via UPS. Email I got said it was going to where the other order number was for. Still need 1 printer, not ordering from Tiger. Take my advice and order somewhere else.
