I got a flat panel and a wireless keyboard. They shipped it right out and everything arrived in good shape. I sort of expected the two things to arrive in one large box but both boxes arrived the same day UPS. After much searching, including after my purchase, I still couldn't find a better price from a highly-trusted online vendor. This was my second purchase from Tiger Direct and I'm sure I'll buy again.

Don't buy their "refurbished" products. You get an old, dirty, scratched product, not worth the 10% discount. If you buy, expect the worst.

I bought a Wacom Graphire tablet from Tiger Direct. Even with shipping and handling, it was cheaper than I could have gotten the tablet at any other store, online or in person. Without S&H, it was still around $15 cheaper. They sent me an e-mail when the item had been shipped, and it arrived well before it was expected to, coming brand new in a larger box with ample stuffing.
I began looking up reviews on Tiger Direct, as I was thinking of buying a laptop from them. The majority of recent problems at one review site seem to be due to complications with their rebates, while here, it's primarily having trouble getting damaged items taken care of. I appreciated their prompt service. I guess I've been scared off of getting that refurbished laptop, but for brand new items without rebates, Tiger Direct can't be beat~!

Buyer beware - once Tiger Direct gets your money, they're done with you. I purchased a laptop. No options for returns. Didn't even qualify for their promised rebate. Read the fine print - that's where they hide the info.

Delivery speed is average. Order accuracy is very questionable, ordered 2 Motorola RAZR phones, receiving one "export only" model. Customer service is horrible, providing no explanation or guarantee same result upon exchange. Tiger Direct customer service made no effort to remedy the customers inconvenience, providing only their standard return policy, which will only inconvenience me (the customer) more. I recommend shopping elsewhere.

No Problems with My Orders

I have ordered twice from Tiger Direct. The first order was for a serial port switch and cables. No problems with the order.
My second order was for a Western Digital 40GB hard drive and ATA serial controller card. Once again, no problems with the order.
Their site was easy to navigate and they had a great selection of products, however, you really need to know what you are ordering when you order computer equipment. There are a lot of compatibility issues to consider.
They send out regular flyers by mail to their customers advertising specials.

I have bought from Tiger Direct numerous times. the website is very well designed and simple to use. Service has always been excellent, with very quick shipping. I have always received the products in great shape, no damage, and always on time. Prices are good, too. I really can't comment on their support, because I have never used or needed it. From brand new items, to refurbished, to open boxed, no problems at all. Keep up the good work, Tiger Direct.

Rebate Scam

I placed an order for a notebook, which was a great deal after a rebate. The order did not go through at first so I had to call Tiger Direct again. At that time I was told to purchase security software from CA, because it had two rebates that made it effectively free. So I did. When filling in the rebate forms, which are not easy as you go through third party web site and must get verification email, I realized that one of the rebates for the software is not applicable for me. So I returned the software package in original, unopened condition. I paid for the return postage, but got back only 30% of my money. I never got the answer why and never got a full refund. Worst, the rebate for my computer did not go through because according to the rebate administrator I did not submit the UPC code. I have copies of all forms, including the serial number and the UPC code that I mailed, but that did not help to get my rebate check. It was my first and certainly the last purchase I made from Tiger Direct.

Terrible! read review for BBB report

Do not shop at Tigerdirect! Bought a system with case, power supply and motherboard. Power supply was DOA and they wanted to ship me a cheap no name one instead of the original. After dealing with terrible customer service for nine days and numerous phone calls they are finally going to send me the correct PS. Now I'm fighting with them about the rebate that they claim did'nt exist. This has been a terrible shopping experience and I would say avoid them like the plague. I wish I would have read the Better Business Bureau customer experience first because everything is negative and it fits my experience to a tee. Good prices - no games - fast shipping

I've been a TigerDirect customer for a number of years. Why do I keep going back to TigerDirect? Simply they have low prices (real prices not some kind of bait and switch pricing games like the less than honest mail order outfits), they have stuff in stock and ready to ship (usually in five days via UPS).
Their web site is easy to use and they send out a catalog so you can refer to it while ordering online. I put TigerDirect right up there with Amazon as some of my most trusted online vendors.
Although I did have a glitch in one of my orders last year in which I received someone else's order and they received mine I am guessing. It took a few days and several emails before the situation was sorted out. Probably because their computer system did not recognize that an error had been made. Since all of my other purchase have gone smoothly I'm willing to give them a break on this one error.

I placed an order for a bunch of stuff, totaling about $600. They sent some of it used, and I had to hassle them repeatedly to get an RMA and shipping credit. Then they defrauded me of the rebates I sent in. Everything was filled in correctly. They received and processed it, just never sent the checks, even after the 10-week waiting period, even after I spoke to the company's controller, and 4 other staff members.

Deplorable customer service

Great site ONLY if everything works flawlessly.
If you have to go through customer support you will find incompetent people, a general unwillingness to help & deplorable service.
It is obvious that Tiger Direct's focus is on their sales and that they do not care about providing any type of acceptable post-sale service.
Along with a 2k++ computer I bought a case with LCD/led display which died after 3 days and all they could tell me was that they did not have any more in stock and that I should ship it back to get all they had for me: a refund.
Also had a problem with my account info and history (Tiger Direct lost all of my order history) which is still not resolved after 6 different support calls. In the end the support staff ignored my e-mails and repeated requests to speak to management or get the issue escalated, so I will never do business with them again and tell everyone not to, no matter how sweet their deals are! newegg.com ;)

Worst on-line retailer I ever saw. I regularly order from the internet and have never had a problem. I order a DS game for my son from Tiger direct.
The game came the case had no shrink wrap, had a posted with some return number and the games was missing. I send it back and called customer service several times. They keep telling me I didn't return the game so they can't exchanged it. I explained on 4 separate occassion that it came empty. Still no game.
If they can't make good on a 20 dollar game I can't see buying anything of substance from them. Skip them they are theives.

Onrebate requires a little experience for an old guy to navigate. But after a time or two, it's ok & I've received every rebate I've applied for there. This is not so with other rebate processes which don't always pay out.

I bought this product for $99 after rebate, the next few days it was $89 after rebate. I've contacted the customer service via email and they were quick to credit me with $10 in my account. Customer Service is definitely 5 out of 5 stars. They would get 6 stars if they were proactive enough to contact me about it. But I guess that would be wishful thinking.

Tiger Direct had good prices, a decent amount of information about each product, and was easy to use. I wish it had more reviews about each product though. A review from an editor or technology expert who actually knows what they are doing with some of these products would be great.
