Tiger Direct cold-bloodedly accepted an order Dec 16 meant as a Christmas present knowing full well it was out of stock. I paid for UPS 2nd day delivery. When I called Dec 20, they said the "warehouse screwed up" and promised the item would ship Dec 21 for delivery on Dec 24. It didn't arrive, I called again and their "customer service" said in effect they didn't give a rat's behind about my problem. Merry Christmas Tiger Direct; you have my money and I have no present to give my son.

Don't buy. Salesman encouraged purchases, and told of recieving rebates. Rebate company is a sister company, onrebate.com , checking with BBB very low score. nothing but promises. only buy if you don't plan on rebate.been months and only recieved less the half of rebates sent.after lots of promises emails go unanswered now.

TigerDirect aka CompUSA.com is the most persistent junk mailer. They continue to send the unwanted catalogs after multiple requests to stop, sometimes stopping - only for a few months - then resuming the mailings. They even dare to flaunt the Post Office Prohibitory Order (form 1500).

Definitely the Best in the business. A true pleasure to deal with EVERY time. People know their stuff and are quite willing to take the time to do the job right. Email notifications when the products are shipped. No hassles returning. All companies should be this good!

I ordered a computer with limited time since I am moving overseas.  They advertise immediate shipping.  Shipping a week later is hardly what I call timely and they only shipped after contacted them to find out what was going one.  Well another week later, no sign of the computer.  I look at the UPS site and all it said was they received billing info.  The computer is nowhere to be found.  I contact tiger direct again and they tell me it will take 8-10 days to trace the order.  So 3 weeks later I'm getting a refund and going to buy elsewhere so I get a computer before I move overseas.  From what I've heard from my computer geek friends, this is normal for Tiger Direct along with many other problems.

Terrible customer service .I got a refurbished Camera .It came defective .Spend hours on the phone .Had three people hang up on me .It is better to pay more . This kind of nightmare is the worst. You should check the BBB report on this company before shopping with them. This company is a great example of how an online store should NOT do business and treat it's customers.

I ordered a graphics card from them and to date have not received it. Upon ordering the card, it appeared as in stock. Four days after, it was back ordered and my credit card was charged for the full amount. I received no email or phone call informing me of this and no refund. Emails have not yielded any responses and phone calls exceed an hour wait, to which I refuse to be on hold for over an hour.

This company has a bad reputation despite the positive reviews. It's worth your while to read the BBB report on this company. I've contacted several consumer agencies regarding their practices and have found they are all aware. They also suggest NOT doing business with Tigerdirect.

Do your homework on this company before deciding to use them.

I recently ordered 2 razr with 2 free headsets. The shipment was quick but incomplete, free head set was not included.

After waiting for 2 weeks, I contacted Tigerdirect by email, but no response, then called the customer service, and I was told they out of stock, need to wait for 3-5 business day.

Ordered a Logitech keyboard directly through their website because the shipping was cheaper, even though the same item through the same company was also advertised through Amazon. I also liked the fact I could pay through Paypal.

The item came really quickly and perfectly packed. I received numerous email updates on my order and shipping information. The price was cheaper than everybody else.

I'm sorry to see others have had problems, but for me this was a perfect transaction & I would buy from them again.

I have had THE best experiences with Tiger Direct! I have lost track of how many orders I have placed but there have been occaisions when I placed the wrong order, or I needed to send something back or whatever...these guys new exactly what I had done wrong and helped me make it right. I have bought entire computer systems, (both new and refurbished), and lots of accessories and incidentals and am getting ready to place a new order for a printer this week. The LCD monitor I bought is just beautiful! And arrived in under 6 days ordered on Thursday and arrived begining of the week!. Would not buy anywhere else and I have checked around. Staying here for ever

Stay away from TigerDirect.com! Their warehouse knowingly sends defective products, shipping is very poor, and customer service is horrid.

Their shipping and handling rates are excessive. I received a 256mb DDR memory card that was DOA. Tigerdirect.com wants you to get a defective confirmation code from the vendor and then a RMA code from tigerdirect, then they want to charge you excessive fees to send you a new memory card that might work.

With all the new phones popping up on the universe, it was difficult deciding which one to purchase since my contract was up and I didn't want to sign for two more years. Tiger Direct is one of my favorite places to look for deals. I not only found the exact phone I wanted, but, Tiger Direct was the only place that sold a purple one! Perfect! On top of that, my phone was in my hands within two days and I didn't pay extra for shipping.

I ordered a Acer Laptop computer the middle of November 2006. I was suppose to get two $100 rebates. After may contacts with them and threatening to contact my Attorney General, I finally got one in February. After I waited..and waited, for the other and it didnt come I contacted them again. I got an email telling me to be patient to give it a few more days. That was the 12th of March and here it is the 21st and I have not heard from them. I have asked for the forms from the Attorney Generals office and I intend to turn them in. If more people would do this, they might get on the ball.
