US Appliance

Ordered a Panasonic 50" plasma w/Blu-Ray player with some concern after reading many negative reviews on this company.  But most of the poor ratings were delivery issues with non-TV products.  TV service reviews were rather positive so I placed my order.  I had the TV and player 6 days later and both are in perfect working order saving $500 off the Best Buy price.  I had to contact the carrier to schedule the delivery but never had the need to contact US Appliance for any reason.

I ordered a camera and they didn't even have it stock.  They charged my card two hour's after the purchase, 10 day's later I call only to find out they do not have it in stock and wouldn't have one for two more week's. 

My wife called to complain and was told "well mam we can put a rush on your order seeing as you are all hot to trot for you order".  WTF!?!

Needless to say I called and told the guy off and demanded a full and immediate refund. 

I will never trust this company again!

I ordered a whole kitchen full of appliances from US Appliance.
When my installer opened the carton of the cooktop, he found the glass top was shattered. There was no appairent damage to the carton. US Appliance informed me there was nothing they could do because I called more than 48 hours after receiving the shipment.
So much for customer service....
I canceled an additional order I had placed with them. I'll never purchase from them again.

Bought Hitachi 65f59A at US appliance after reading reviews, so I was prepared for a slow process, with no hand-holding. They did bill my card immediately without so much as an invoice, which made me nervous, but NONE of the reviews indicated they were shady, just slow and uncommunicative, so I waited patiently and tried not to worry. Long story short, it took 5-6 weeks and no contact from US appliance, but I have a great TV at the best price I could find. If you need to be coddled every step, look elsewhere. If you want to save money, These guys are OK.

I ordered a Thermador range and Bosch dishwasher, which were both delivered for $59. The sales people were helpful with my initial questions and the order came as advertised. Good experience.

Terrible experience, bought a $400.00 microwave, that started falling apart days after receiving it. Then it totally burned out, and would not power on, within the first month, of buying it. And US Appliance, will do NOTHING to help us. They have terrible, polices. Beware of this company, like they say "You get what you pay for". Just because there a bit cheaper, does not mean there an honest company. Its just wrong, how they treat honest hardworking people.Buyer beware~~~~~

My order:
I ordered a LG 21.6cuft stainless steel refrigerator during Thanks-giving and it arrived after Christmas and they sent me a DEFECTIVE piece!
The defects:
*The stainless steel body has dents and scratches on it throughout eg inner side of the fridge door handle etc.
*It was unclean from inside-there were lots of human hair in it. *The sponge like insulation material had leaked outside the door and had stuck to the stainless steel door.
Beware:
I have emailed them with pictures and NO ONE HAS GOT BACK TO ME. They operate per EST!
Poor customer service:
I had to constantly call them to know the status of my fridge for delivery.
Final word:
I am completely in aghast & dissatisfied. I recommend NOT TO GO WITH THESE GUYS. Had it not been for my excellent choice of the fridge(brand etc) and way it works - I dont know what I would have done.
Pay a couple $$$ more and get the satisfaction of a spotless non defective piece!

Very detailed, well organized website. Very good prices. Read mixed reviews of this retailer. Cautiously ordered four high-end appliances including Jenn-Air double oven, hood and cooktop, and Bosch dishwasher. Delivered in three weeks, as promised, in perfect condition. Deliverymen unpacked and brought the items into house, as requested. Overall a very good experience and saved over $1,000 total.

I Purchased a Toshiba DVD video recorder.It was the best price available on the internet.I then received an e-mail confirmation immediately upon completion of the purchase  transaction.I was then notified four  days later ,via e-mail that the unit was shipped. The name of the shipping company [UPS] and the Track number was included.
The recorder was new in the box and it works fine.
Very good transaction,quick shipping and overall an excellent purchase.

I am a custom home builder and I purchased all my kitchen appliances from US Appliance. My experience with them was outstanding. I ordered the wrong fridge and they gladly accepted the wrong unit back and quickly delivered the new one. I will continue to use them.
I see they have received some complaints, but with any big company there will be some complaints. I think they are as good as any store you can go to and their prices are better.

I was VERY surprised by my experience at us-appliance.com.  I bought a new Samsung 40" Luxia TV from them which was advertised with free shipping and an MSRP of about $400 less than other stores. The website design is very clunky and this would be my biggest online purchase (about $2000) and I didn't want to buy from a website that didn't inspire any confidence. After a LOT of research I learnt that us-appliance.com is the online arm of ABC warehouse which according to Samsung is an authorized retailer. So after quite a bit of hesitation and trepirdation I went ahead and placed the order and promptly didn't hear back from them for 2 days! I placed the order Wednesday morning and got a call from someone on Friday afternoon confirming my order. It took another week for delivery from MI to Seattle, WA (I got the TV the following Friday) and LOVE it so far. The TV is super thinn, brand new and I saved over $400 from other places. So yes, I'm surprised at how it all turned out and even decided to go to epinions and write about it! Good luck with your TV purchase

I am now going on the 13th day of a refrigerator being in the middle of my hallway. To add insult to injury, this company which refused to remove the doors of the fridge to get it in the apartment is going to try and charge me a 15% restocking fee. So much for their so-called white-glove delivery. I've spent hours on the phone trying to get this resolved. If you speak with Stephany, don't believe a word of what she says!! She is the biggest liar on the face of the planet. The only good thing about this whole experience is that the credit card company conference called US appliance and has them on record as claiming that they should have picked up the fridge last week. The credit card company has also advised me that based on the claimed advertising, of US Appliance they will credit my account the 15% restocking fee that these jerks tried to charge me. IF YOU'RE SMART, YOU WILL STAY AWAY....VERY FAR AWAY.

Store shipped severely damaged dryer which cannot be used.  Refused to take it back, honor the store's guarantee or refund the purchase price.  Have had to purchase another dryer elsewhere.  Store was very strident amd unyielding in refusal to replace the product.  From other reviews, it appears that this is typical. 

DO not buy your items from US-Appliance.  You will be sorry. The employees are incompetent.  Last week, I ordered an item and the agent said I would receive it in 5 business days.  After waiting for one and half weeks, I called to check on my purchase.  And guess what?  They didn't even have the item in stock.  You would think they would call their customers to let them know about this problem. But NO! They just let the customers wait. I was of course FURIOUS, because I waited all this time, and it was supposed to be a mother's day gift.  I will never use that company again.  Stay AWAY!!!!

I purchased two high end Kitchen Aid appliances from US-appliance.com, and did not open the boxes within 48 hours (I am in the middle of renovating the house). Much to my dismay, my $1700 convection oven was badly damaged in transit (looks like it fell on it's top) and repair costs are now my responsibility.
If you can deal with the hassle of ordering large appliances online, then do yourself a favor and become well acquainted with the return/exchange policy. If you do not open your product and report damages within 48 hours, then you're stuck with broken merchandise, and any damages resulting from those repairs will come out of your bank account. Any other authorized seller will deliver their products into your house and open them for you...US-appliance hires trucking companies that drop and run.
Furthermore, US-appliance is rude and very unhelpful. They really made me feel like an idiot for not opening the box sooner...
