Slow turnaround, but you save plently of $$$$!

I was VERY surprised by my experience at us-appliance.com. I bought a new Samsung 40" Luxia TV from them which was advertised with free shipping and an MSRP of about $400 less than other stores. The website design is very clunky and this would be my biggest online purchase (about $2000) and I didn't want to buy from a website that didn't inspire any confidence. After a LOT of research I learnt that us-appliance.com is the online arm of ABC warehouse which according to Samsung is an authorized retailer. So after quite a bit of hesitation and trepirdation I went ahead and placed the order and promptly didn't hear back from them for 2 days! I placed the order Wednesday morning and got a call from someone on Friday afternoon confirming my order. It took another week for delivery from MI to Seattle, WA (I got the TV the following Friday) and LOVE it so far. The TV is super thinn, brand new and I saved over $400 from other places. So yes, I'm surprised at how it all turned out and even decided to go to epinions and write about it! Good luck with your TV purchase

They charge you before they ship but don't state that up front.

They charge your credit card BEFORE they ship the product, then they want a 15% return charge if you cancel the order! What a rip off! If they stated this policy clearly I wouldn't feel so cheated, but they do not state this policy anywhere (10/20/04). Don't be fooled by their Better Business Bureau logo - stay away!

Hmmmm, I get the impression that they are con artists!!!! They come up on Eopinions.com as selling a Sharp Microwave convection oven Model R-1871 for $369. However, when you hit "buy it" you are taken to a page for a Sharp R-1750 for $369 this is NOT THE SAME MODEL!!! In fact, it is not a convection/microwave.
If you find the R-1871 on their site it is $499 not $369. Seems like the old "bait and switch" to me. WHAT A SCAM!!! I will certainly never buy from them.

Best price, fast delivery, easy tracking of delivery

Best price on 52" HDTV. Shipped next day and arrived 6 days after order placed. No tax & free shipping. Called their customer service to get carrier and tracking number which allowed me to follow the TV from Michigan to my home in Florida. I'd buy from them again.
Opportunity for them to improve -- provide carrier and tracking info on confirming email and/or invoice so buyer doesn't have to call to get info.

WORST COMPANY EVER: DON"T BUY FROM THEM

I bought a Dacor refrigerator which arrived very late and badly damaged. US Appliance wrote in their e-mail that they will replace all the damaged parts, and if it doesn't work, will replace with a new one. When the inspection report came out that it can not be repaired, Carla (she said she is the manager) said she will not honor any of the promises her sales person made in writing via e-mail to replace all damaged parts, or replace with a brand new refrigerator. Carla said "Too bad." We lived without a refrigerator for the whole Christmas holiday. We are taking them to court to get this resolved. I would never, ever buy from them. I can not believe a company can be this bad. I never had this kind of horrible experience in my life time.

I ordered a KitchenAid cooktop on 1/24/08. received notification order accepted 1/25. CC billed that day.
received call from Pilot Freight on 2/12/08. set delivery for 2/14. from tracking number I saw that it arrived in local area on 2/8. did not receive notice from us-appliance.
they had stated 3 weeks. received in 2.5 weeks

What a great experience!

It was an unexpected pleasure dealing with us-appliance. They published long waites on shipping and I read about diesel surhcarges, etc. But in fact it was just plain great. The shipping dates were published on the item (LG TV 47LH90), shipping was totally free with no taxes. Price was unbeatable by a mile. Delivery was much faster than the expectation they published! Box was unmolested, TV was just plain beautifull! I will definitely come back for more!

Poor delivery service, misleading advertising, and suspicious business practices

I completed a purchase with this store for an LG LSC27931sb. The website indicated the item would be delivered in 3 to 4 weeks. I was fine with that since I was getting free shipping and a price discount of 25 to 30%. BUT . . . we were then emailed a couple of days later that the item would not be delivered for 8 weeks or more due to a backorder situation with the manufacturer. Umm . . misleading advertising? Then my wife and I noted we were already charged for the item. Umm . . . suspicious business practices? By now I was not comfortable with the company at all and cancelled the order. Re-researched. Found a competitor who had changed their pricing and was now closer to their sale price and could deliver in 7 days. Purchased from them. Have many more large appliance to purchase soon - US Appliance will no longer be on my hit list. End of story.

There seems to be a bait and switch scam going on with this company. I was looking for an LG LRFC25750 refrigerator and it came back with a price of $1,449. BUT, when I went to the site, the price was for an LG LRFC22750 (a smaller refrigerator). The one I wanted was $1,549 plus an additional $200 for titanium. Doesn't seem honest to me. I can get it cheaper locally and not worry about being cheated.

Buyer Beware !!! The prices are good, but you get what you pay for, took almost a month to get my order, which broke on me and still haven't got it repaired yet, they are disorganized, rude, and absolutely could care less once they get your money. you have been warned, just wisj i would have googled "U S Appliance reviews before i purchased, would never do business with them again.

Ordered over the counter microwave. 5/24/07 got email staying it was shipped 10 days later the said they were having problems with manf. IT WAS STILL AT THE company's the other manf. warehouse told it would be delivered 6/25/07 a full month after I ordered . SEnt email CANCEL MY ORDER.EMAIL SAID 2 3 DAYS TO tell it goes into my account crossing my fingers.

AVOID!!!! S-L-O-W SHIPPING & LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE

AVOID THIS PLACE! I ordered a couple of knife sharpeners on 06/04 and had not received shipping confirmation by 6/9 so I called to check on the status. I was told the sharpeners were being transferred from a retail store and were "on the truck" and would ship that day. I called the following day to check the status and spoke to the same person who told me they hadn't made it on the truck after all. I asked him to cancel the order and he insisted they would be in "next week". I then insisted that he cancel the order and he said he would "have to check on that". He came back and said I would receive an email confirming cancellation and abruptly hung up. No apology, no courtesy. What a bunch of losers!

Product came in defective and US Appliances refused to take it back for exchange. Be careful with their return/exchange policy-it's not what you read on their site . Customer Service was rude and not helpful.

I just bought a 50" Plasma from US Appliance via the web. The process was smooth, the price was great, I got emails from them confirming the purchase, a receipt, a ship notice, and notice from the delivery company who came into my home, unpacked the box, screwed in the stand and placed it in place, asked to make sure everything was ok (it was). I agreed, signed, and away they went. Everything works and the picture is great. The other complaints on this site do not seem to apply (at least not to me). I recommend them, especially for their price and white glove service.

Worst online shopping experience. They charged my credit card and never shipped out the item I ordered. Horrible customer service. I had to call and cancel my order but not sure if I could get the money back. Will never order anything from them again.

This is the second time I've ordered from this merchant and have had good experiences both times. This time the merchanidise I received was damaged during shipment and their customer service in processing the return was very good. One thing that could be improved is their inventory status. This item I ordered said 2-3 weeks for delivery and I received mine in 3 days. You wouldn't think this would be a problem, but I had re-arranged my kitchen design plans to accommodate the 2-3 weeks. Had I known it would be 2-3 days, I could have adjusted my plans differently.

The only problem was they left the appliances outside. I paid extra for them to be uncrated and installed. Please credit my account. Would I use this company again, that depends on if my account is credited for the service I paid for and did not get.

The element that we received was defective. I contacted US Appliance and within ten days, they had a service rep at my home, he verified the problem and I received a replacement unit.
I couldn't be happier with the quick response. And a special thanks to Carla Farewell, customer Service Supervisor, at US Appliance.

US Appliance on the internet should let the customer know that this company is affliated with or the same as ABC Warehouse. I had a very bad experience with ABC Warehouse in their store and definately would not have made this purchase had I known US Appliance had anything to do with ABC Warehouse. This is very deceptive, and I will stay away from this web sight from now on. If I have any problems with the refrigerator or exhaust hood, I will go directly to the manufacturers or have them serviced by a reputable service provider as I have with the dishwasher I purchased from ABC Warehouse. Imagine my shock when I saw the shipping paper with ABC Warehouse on the top but no notation anywhere that is was from US Appliance. I probably would investigate this further if I had nothing better to spend my time on but you never know.
