US Appliance

Horrible customer service, shipping takes atleast 5-8 weeks despite what they say.  Was told 3 weeks shipping at the most and am still waiting for my delivery 5 weeks later.  Customer service is no help and very rude.

I, too, was concerned about buying such an expensive item over the internet but we needed a new "drop-in" range and not only was selection poor locally but the prices were outrageous.  The price at US Appliance was the lowest I could find anywhere.  $500 less than local and $100 less than any other on the internet.  So...I decided to take the risk.  WOW...what a great decision!  I was able to get a "convection oven" for only $100 more than any non-convection "drop-in" locally and the purchase went off without a hitch.  The item was backordered but that is fairly typical for "drop-ins".  We were informed by customer service of the delay.  The oven did not arrive as originally predicted but I work in manufacturing and I understand how that happens.  US Appliance can only communicate what their manufacturers tell them and manufacturers tend to be overly optimistic.   As soon as the oven arrived from the factory it was shipped to our home and we received it very quickly and in perfect condition.  US Appliance now will have ALL of our major appliance business.  I couldn't have been more pleased in the professional way this purchase was handled.

I ordered 3 kitchen appliances from USAppliance after checking reviews on them and their competitors.  Bearing in mind that there will always be someone unhappy, I decided on US.  The experience was great.  George, the customer service rep, was patient with all of my questions and even went to his supervisor to try to get a better deal for me.  I wasn't immediately ready to place my order, but he kept the information until I was.  Before they were supposed to arrive, I called to find out what the status is and George duly checked and let me know.  Well they arrived yesterday in perfect condition.  The  freight company called ahead to schedule delivery at my convenience and again when they were on their way.  The driver kindly offered to wait until we had unpacked everything to see if there was any damage, even though the boxes were in great condition.  This was a most unexpectedly smooth and pleasant transaction.  The price was great, no shipping, no tax, although they do have a small freight surcharge now.  To top it off, the company is in Michigan and I am so glad to help that suffering state's economy a bit.

I was a little concerned after seeing the mixed reviews online, but the $100 savings and FREE delivery on a dishwasher made me want to give them a try.  The delivered it in 14 days (4 days late), and seemed to be slow to process the order.  But they were responsive on the phone, and it arrived in perfect condition, and works like a charm.  I'll use them again, for sure.

Worst online shopping experience. They charged my credit card and never shipped out the item I ordered. Horrible customer service. I had to call and cancel my order but not sure if I could get the money back. Will never order anything from them again.

I was leery, at first, of purchasing a large appliance from an unfamiliar-to-me vendor. However, a family members recent positive buying experience with US Appliance emboldened me to make the purchase. I took delivery of a Consumer Reports rated Frigidaire GLTF2940FS Front Load Washer. I saved almost $100 over buying locally, and delivery took less than a weeks time after submitting my order. I am thus satisfied with the whole experience, and will consider another future purchase from them (can't wait for my dryer to die so I can purchase a matching appliance).

US Appliance intentionally hides the fact that an item is "out of stock" or "special order". I placed an order for a stove top and was told 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. After 2 weeks with out conformation of shipping I called to check status. I was then told that my item was a "special order" item and they had no idea when I would receive it. I waited over 1 month then called again and US Appliance could still not give me a ship date. I canceled my order and then waited 6 days for a refund of my money. US Appliance shipping estimates apply only to in stock items, Unfortunately they have VERY few items in stock. If you order from US Appliance be prepared to wait. Costumer service was also very poor. The two individuals I spoke with were both rude and un helpful.

Ordered over the counter microwave. 5/24/07 got email staying it was shipped 10 days later the said they were having problems with manf. IT WAS STILL AT THE company's the other manf. warehouse told it would be delivered 6/25/07 a full month after I ordered . SEnt email CANCEL MY ORDER.EMAIL SAID 2 3 DAYS TO tell it goes into my account crossing my fingers.

This was the WORST appliance buying experience I have ever had!  I ordered a microhood and it was supposed to be delivered in 3 weeks.  It took 5 weeks, but I was relieved when it finally arrived.  I opened the box and inspected the outside of the micro hood, it looked great, no  apparent damage.  Three days after reciept my husband went to install it and opened the door, it was cracked and bent on the inside.  I called US appliance and they said that I was out of luck b/c it hadn't been reported in the first 48 hours after delivery.  Now I have a brand new, useless appliance and I am out $540!  I will never use an online retailer again, it would have cost me $70 more to order through the local Big Box store but I should have just done it.  Please don't ever use this company, their customer service is horrible and I am planning to report them to the better business bureau.

Ordered a Panasonic Viera p50g15 on a Thursday before Labor Day.  Received confirmation email that night (item was guaranteed to be delivered in 7-10 business days).  My credit card was not charged until the following Tuesday after the holiday.  I received a confirmation of shipping email on Friday and was informed that the tv would take 3-5 days to get here.  To my surprise it arrived the following Tuesday at noon.  Despite not being able to track the package, I was pleasantly surprised by the earlyish delivery.  I am very pleased with my new HDTV.

WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! This place is a total scam, they're akin to car dealers in the sense that they will tell you anything you want to hook you. Their advertising is totally misleading as well. Do yourself a favor............Shop somewhere else and save the headaches that are sure to follow if you purchase anything here. As for the favorable reviews here, they are no doubt company owners in the process of damage control. It sucks when people can make three clicks and find out just what a dicey business you have..... huh guys?
