The Grill was damaged on dilivery and I had to call Ducane to get all the parts that were smashed and reassemble the grill a week later when it was already set up. There were three major parts damaged in shipment.

said item was in stock but was several days and a few phone calls to see why unit didn't ship withing a couple days. Customer service said they had to get unit at another store which took a few more days. Once unit was received by shipping location, transit time was what was expected. In future, I would confirm unit was READILY available before I ordered and probably order on phone versus on-line.

My original order was handled on line but I contacted a human being at US Appliance to confirm the product ordered was correct. The initial contact was very reassuring.
The customer service person was helpful But the firm was unable to expedite an order even if I paid for faster service.
Then, after waiting 9days, the hood arrived damaged beyond repair. I made a call to customer service person who was very polite and wanted to help, but, was unable to provide a means to ship a replacement on a timely basis. No less than 9 days.
She said I would hear from the shipper within a few hours and that once they picked up the damaged hood, in a day or so, I would receive a credit for the full amount $929. She said I should try to order it elsewhere if I needed a delivery in less than 1 1/2 weeks. I needed the hood within 3 days.
So far, the shipper has not called to say they would pick up the item.
Ultimately, with the help of the manufacturers customer srvice dept, I was able to reach a regional distributor whose management department is arranging for a 2day delivery at the original price. They assured me that US Appliance is highly reputable BUT they couldn't understand why US Appliance was unable or unwilling to reach out to them, for the help I am getting on my own.

The only problem that we have had was that the ice maker did not function properly. A technician came but did not get it fixed. We will be calling again Monday a.m.

My experience with US Appliance was wonderful. Everything happened as they said it would. Everyone was very helpful and courteous especially the delivary people. The ease and convenience of shopping with them was great.
