I bought SD memory card for my camera. Unfortunately I have to return camera due to poor quality of creating picture from moving subjects (Auto Focus issue). When I was trying to return SD-card – Wal-Mart manager refused to take it because item been opened. We checked with her return policy and when didn’t find any limitation relative to memory - she replied what it has to be approved by another manager…. Had to call 800 number and open case, still waiting for result. Plus – you have to be very careful when you will buy over there - return policy is different on web and in the store (store has restriction for camera, I heard (in front of me) issue to return cd player and etc).
Will I buy next time in Wal-Mart – NO. This lower price is very costly when you have to use return policy.

I ordered the Step 2 Waterwheel Play Table b/c it offered the lowest price and free shipping via the site-to-store service. As stated, the toy would be delivered to the store in 7 to 10 days. I received an email informing me about a delay in fulfillment and that a delivery date could not be determined at the time. I was aggravated. I replied to Wal-Mart customer service that I appreciated the update and I intended to rate the online store accordingly. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with what happened next, but the toy was delivered to the store without any notice to me THREE days after I received the message about the delay. Fortunately, I had called the customer service 800 number for the status of my order. If I had not done that, who knows if I would have received an email message that the order had been fulfilled so soon. I am annoyed by the disparity b/w Wal-mart.com's information via email versus the 800 number. Otherwise, the site-to-store service worked well and the price was right.

Understand that I'm no fan of Wal-Mart. I wouldn't go into one of their stores unless I was absolutely desperate. But I decided to given them a try online, and had terrific results.

Easy to purchase, the lowest price I could find on a Panasonic LS55 without buying from some New York/New Jersey retailer I've never seen nor heard of. Ordered on Monday, delivered on Friday. Easy to track the shipment all the way from mid-America to California.

Their extended warranty price was also one of, if not the lowest, I found. My experience has been that if small electronics break, they do it in the first month or two of ownership. Why buy a 3 or 4 year warranty from Circuit City or Best Buy? I don't know if I'll even want to repair it if it's broken then. Shoot, just buy a new one. They'll probably be cheap enough to be replaceable in 4 more years.

Bottom line, if Wal-Mart can find a way to be more price competitive everyday with both Circuit City and Best Buy, I'll opt for Wal-Mart online anytime.

As usual, I shopped the week before Christmas, in this case, the Friday, the 17th.

I found all of the three items I was looking for, one of which I could probably have gotten at the store, if I wanted to wait in line; another the store was out of, and one, a "manga" book which I have never seen stocked on a WalMart shelf.

The first two, cd players, were stocked in an in-state distribution center, so they arrived, I believe, on Tuesday the 21st. The book had to come from Arkansas, so it arrived the 24th.

All were sent with standard shipping, and arrived in good shape. And, if they were wrong, I had the assurance that they could have been returned to the local store.

The delivery speed was unbelivible. They answered all of my questions and helped me threw everything that need help with.

I used the walmart downloader. It is convienent, because you buy a walmart gift card and enter the number into the computer. Each song is .98 cents, which is average i guess. The part i don't like is that the songs are all edited. I like death metal, and hard core metal music, and they don't have alot of that kind of music, so it was a waste of time to me. If you like pop music or rap, then you would like this. There are better downloading programs out there, but if you don't want to mess around with a credit card, then i guess it's better than nothing.

Everything went smoothly for me. My items were correct and came quickly. I found the website to be easy to use. I would order from them again.

I recently ordered a children's bookshelf from Walmart.com and was totally pleased with the entire transaction. Ordering using a credit card was simple, and I got an e-mail confirmation immediately. I was able to track the item's whereabouts, and best of all, the item arrived two days before its stated due date. In a nutshell, I got what I wanted, at the price I wanted, in less time. I will definitely shop Walmart.com again.

Areas for improvement: 1) More selection - to more closely match what's in the retail stores; 2) Improve upon the site's Search function, e.g., add the ability to search within subcategories like Amazon.com does; 3) Offer free, if not reduced, shipping for orders over $X; and, 4) Work on the added tax - again, there are sites that don't even charge for tax.

I ordered the Disney DVD player for my son a week before Christmas. Here it is the 21st of January and I have contacted Wal-Mart several times during this time frame to inquire about the DVD player’s estimated shipping time since on the order tracking page it still says "Processing" and on the web site it says "IN STOCK". I just received an email in response to my last email regarding the subject and I was finally told that the item was "discontinue” That is horrible business practice. If you do not have the item do not advertise. If the item has been discontinued I should have been notified. I am extremely dissatisfied.

I have ordered online from Wal-Mart the Holmes Hepa Air Purifier and it was much cheaper than I in other stores. The item arrived on the day quoted to me. I would definately order from Walmart again.

I am an avid walmart shopper, so when I was thinking about purchasing 2 futons I, of course, looked to Walmart first. It is easier to search for items on walmart.com and I was very happy to find a cost effective futon that was catching to the eye. My disappointment came when I tried to find an actual Walmart store with the item. While the website had proudly stated that the futon was available in the stores, I cannot find one in my area that carries the product. I wanted to purchase two and the shipping for each is $89 which is approximately half the actual price of the product. I spoke to several associates who informed me that the store cannot request or order the item(s) directly from the warehouse and they have absolutely no idea if MY futons will ever become available in any particular store. I was urged to continue calling back periodically checking to see whether or not my items have become available. Not only is this implausible but I consider this statement to border on ridicule.

I have only ordered online from Walmart twice, but both times what I ordered were cheaper than I found them in other stores. My deliveries arrived on the day quoted to me. I would definately order from Walmart again. One great thing about it is that you know you are ordering from a well known company and not going to have to worry about them not sending your items.

I ordered a book through walmart.com because it happened to be the cheapest price I could find online. I'm normally a customer of Amazon.com, but I decided saving $5 was worth it. Was I wrong!

I recieve one email confirming my order and giving me tracking info so I can track my order. The expected ship date was within 9 days of my order.

Nine days later nothing has arrived and I'm feeling a little annoyed. I call the 800 number the agent was nice but it turns out the book is back ordered!

Now I need to cancel my order and go back to a service I trust. It would of been nice had they been communicating with me the whole time I could of avoided this annoyance and ordered elsewhere. I will not be ordering from walmart.com again.

I ordered a book from walmart.com which took 10 days to arrive. Their shipping used a combination of UPS which packages and presorts, then sends to USPS for delivery. The shipping was on special for 97 cents, and since it was a book, it was sent media mail which is slower than First Class/Priority Mail. Overall, OK experience with the exception of the slowness of shipping. The slow shipping is the reason I would hesitate recommending someone to use walmart.com, at least for books.

I have ordered on-line for the past 2 years around Christmas. I have never been disappointed. I have received my delivery before scheduled both times! Last year my delivery wasn't expected until AFTER Christmas but was delivered BEFORE Christmas. The same thing just happened today. Again, my order was delivered before it was expected. I order on-line quite often and have never had a problem over a few years. My orders have always been accurate. I am completely satisfied.
