Walmart.com

I'm very sad about the way that Wal-mart.com ships items. I ordered a santa gift for my daughter only to have it show up at not covered. They slapped a shipping tag on it and off it went. Thank goodness that the UPS driver knows where I work and brought it there instead of home. He said that he did not want her to see it and thought that this would be better. I can't believe that Wal-mart is not smart enough to realize that most items they are shipping are gifts and should not be seen. Next time I order I will make sure that it goes somewhere else, just to be safe

Walmart.com does Have a great selection. I actually odered a digital camera, bag, and usb cables, yesterday i feel cofmtable that they will not get canceled or delayed or w/e other people have said. My camera has already been shipped and now i am waiting for my other two items. so yes i reccomened shopping at walmart.com

I have ordered toys, DVDs and miscellaneous items from Walmart.com for several years and have been very satisfied with the convenience, shipping process and prices. I was somewhat surprised when I read online reviews. A lot of people are very unhappy with Walmart.com, but it appears that most of the situations deal with returns and cancellations. I haven't had to deal with those types of situations. For me, shopping with Walmart.com was great. I also shop through Upromise.com and get money back for college. Hard to beat! Also, periodically, Walmart.com offers shipping specials such as 97 cents for select toys. It would cost me much more in gas than that to shop for a toy. Great experience so far!

I have recently bought quite a few items throughout the past three weeks. They were in nice condition worked exactly how i wanted, but the times just for it to get to me was the real problem. I do not know if it is because it was the holidays, but the processing literally took 5days. Simply put, I was surprised it took so long just to process and then. Almost ridiculous that it shipped faster then it could leave the facility.

Shopping for music to download? Try Walmart.com. The site is very inexpensive (.89 per song) and easy to navigate. The also have a surprisingly big catalog of songs to choose from. This site would be especially good for someone who isn't very experienced on downloading music, because the directions are clear and simple.

Ordered 5 cd's for Christmas. They were guaranteed to be here by Dec. 9th. Arrived Dec. 23rd. I called numerous times and customer service was the pitts. I asked why they could not ship by UPS with my other order. They said the cd's come from a different location. There is no mention the cd's were coming by pony express. Will look somewhere else to buy online. Not worth the heart attack.

This is a terrible mail order site. It took 3 weeks to get my order, which was listed as "in stock". It didn't even ship until 2 weeks after the order was placed. When it arrived, the shipping box was real beat up looking. The camera inside was in its original packaging (box) but there wasn't enough packing material around the camera box to keep it from moving around in the shipping box. It too was real beat up looking. Surprisingly the camera made it okay. Luckily, Kodak packages their cameras well.
Before ordering I noticed the website didn't score very well. I figured I wasn't in a hurry so speed wasn't a factor. Unfortunately speed isn't their only problem. The only reason I ordered the product is because the price was so much better than any local store (including Wal-Mart).

I placed an order, paid extra for overnight shipping and have not received my order after 4 days of waiting. the website said the processing time for my item was 0 days. right now they show delivery for the 6th day. i contacted them about refunding the overnight fee, and they told me i must allow two to three days for processing-that is not what the website said. i won't be ordering from their website again. shipping charges are ridiculous, and predicted delivery date is unreliable.

Ordered 2 things that were 'in stock'. I got a notice that neither was in stock and they would love for me to cancel my order and gave me a number of ways to do that. There was no way to communicate YES...I want it.

Finally they said that one item would arrive between the 7th and 13th. I got the notice on the 12th and the item came on the 13th.

The other item was canceled by them (which was the one out of the two of them I really wanted).

Just went back to the website and guess what! Still in stock!!

Ordered a digital camera online that was advertised as being in-stock. Received an email conf. saying it would be delivered in 7 to 14 days. After 8 days I checked the tracking. The order was still shown as being processed. Called the 800 number and was told the product was backordered but that a shipment arrived and the rep. was going to take my name off backorder status and the camera should ship in 1 to 2 days, and assured me I would still get it by Christmas. 3 days later, nothing changed, so I called again. Twice during the day I was told their computer was down and call back again later. The third time I was told the product was still on backorder and they didn't know when it would ship. The tracking info. still is not updated. Cancelled order.

Terrible service, support and product availability. Called and verified an item was in stock and then the day after order was placed, the item was no longer available. Bait and switch tactics. Never ordering from them again. Had to call customer service 20+ times before the system let me speak with a customer represent. All other times it just hung up when it said it was transferring me to a representative.

Imagine if you will. two video rockers. Absolutely identical in every way, same manufacturer -- but one color costs $15 more to ship than the other. Aparently Black weighs more than red. So begins my long customer service nightmare. A normal company would have issued a credit right on the spot. They can’t, and wont. The item has been delivered and I spent more money in shipping and handling than on the item. Why did I do this in the first place? Because Wal-Mart customer service assured me that they would handle it quickly. Never —never -- never, again would I order from Wal-Mart online -- no sale is worth it!

Return policy for Wal-Mart has gotten ridiculous. I went to return a camera I had purchased from their online store, I used it only 3 times because it kept shutting off when I tried to take a picture. I had the camera for 34 days and it was in the box for 28 of those . When I went to return it, I was informed that Wal-Mart only alows 30 days now for digital cameras to be returned and 15 for Camcorders and Computers. I didn't even open up my computer until 2 weeks after recieving it because I was out of town. What happened to the 90 day policy???? I don't care for their new policy or having to hunt down one of their rude employees to get service. I will go somewhere else from now on.

My new coffee maker arrived in a great condition. The shipping was reasonably fast, too. Will certainly buy from them again.
