My telephone call inquiry was never returned; instead, I had to take time to call back. By then, it was too late for my friend to receive the shipment of wine in time for her birthday. Minimal was done to compensate for the lack of customer service follow-thru and late shipping. Managers would not come to the phone to assist me, leaving all the responsibility on the shoulders of the 1-800 operator. He was appropriately appologetic, but lacked the authority to make good on an unsatisfactory shopping experience. I would not recommend wine.com.
