I purchased the NIKON One Touch Zoom 90 online from Wolf Camera. It seemed to be refurbished, though they sold it as new. It has never operated properly. It "ate" my film in the beginning, then wouldn't rewind. After sending it back twice for repair, the display would indicate that it had rewound, then when you open the back the film was still right there...now EXPOSED.
Wolf's guarantee is only 30 days. (They have an outside vender do the repair.)
The delivery was several days late & the customer service was poor.
My suggestion? DO NOT BUY FROM WOLF CAMERA. Read the fine print. After 30 days, you're on your own.

I bought the camera with this store and it has some problem with LCD screen. I return the product to them and asking for new one. They said only 2-3 days the new one will return to me but I waiting about 15 days. No new one come. During that day I call them many times and I get different answer for my problem. Finally I make a decision to cancel the order and go to buy with another store. VERY BAD SERVICE.

Ordered a TV stand that the website reported as being "In Stock". Only after they had my credit card number did I receive a confirmation with tiny print under the item description stating "Currently out of Stock". I ordered a Panasonic DMC-FZ10 from Wolfcamera.com at full price of $599.99 on 12/16. I received it two days later. Fast service.

However, they did not include the DigitalAdvantage package that was supposed to come with the camera. I called and they said they would ship it immediately.

The major problem was that both in the 1/4/04 paper and online, they have the camera on sale for $60 less. I feel that because of how recently I bought the camera, I should get a refund of the $60.

They refused saying I was outside the 10 day return window, so I would not get the refund. I'm not happy about that and appealed to a supervisor with no success. I intend to write, but expect another turndown.

In mid-October 2006, I bought my daughter a Nikon Coolpix camera at Wolf Camera for her 18th birthday. We also bought the extended warranty with the camera. The first of December 2006, the camera began malfunctioning and displayed error messages. We returned the camera to Wolf Camera on Dec. 10 and were told that the camera had to be sent to Nikon to be repaired and would take 4 - 6 weeks. It is now February 11 (8 wks later) and we still do not have the camera back even though I have checked back with Wolf camera about 5 times. The camera worked properly for about 6 weeks and now we have been without the camera for 8 weeks. I would never buy another camera from Wolf.

I recently purchased a digital camera from wolf camera and it was the worse experience ever. First i tried to cancel my order but never received a response from them. 2 days later i received an email saying that my credit card was charged and my order shipped. Then when my order arrived the camera didnt work. It wouldnt charge, the charge light never came on. When i called wolf inquiring about returning this item they told me their return policy was 10 days and because it was over 10 days there was nothing they could do for me. I wasnt returning the item because i changed my mind. I was returning it because i received a defective item. I think in cases like mind where the fault was clearly theirs they should honor my return regardless of their 10 days return policy. Now i'm left with a broken camera, total cost 120.00. :-(

It is now Jan. 8 and I have still not received my order from WolfCamera.com. Ordered a Kensington FM Transmitter 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas. Received an email from Google Checkout confirming that my order had shipped. Then started receiving daily (so far 28 emails total) emails from Wolf stating that my order was delayed. Why would they state this item was in stock if it wasn't, and why can they not get this item in stock after so long. Called customer service about 2 weeks ago, they said that the item had shipped and I would receive it after Christmas. Obviously that was not true. My mom ordered the same item at the same time for my sister and the same thing happened to her. Their website says that orders not filled within 30 days will receive a refund. I guess this happens often if they have that posted on their website. Needless to say, they will never get my business again.

I bought a Minolta digital camera from one of the local wolf stores.The sales person was very friendly during our first visit.But the next day once we bought the camera his attitude changed.He also sold us a battery charger for 30$ saying that the camera did not come with one-on the contrary the camera had a charger of its own.
2 months later, we started facing problems with the camera and unfortunately we lost the store receipt.The camera is still under warranty and till today we have visited their stores 4 times, for them to track the receipt-yet to receive one.Very bad experience.

Ordered frame as Christmas gift. The "in-stock" item did NOT arrive promptly...took approx 3 weeks. The compact flash reader works perfectly however, the memory stick reader does not work at all. I contacted Wolf 12/25, was told I need "RMA" to return..1st call, was advised e-mail would be sent in 3-6 days..after 6 days, 2nd call, advised 24-48 hours...after 48 hours, 3rd call 10-14 days. Today is day #13..

Customer service is VERY rude and (obviously) uninformative! I have been a loyal customer, for many years, to the wolf retail store. However, I will NEVER use wolfcamera.com again.

I have made two purchases in the last couple weeks and this merchant is great. Not only do the offer good prices, but also no tax and no shipping charges. They send out detailed email confirmations of orders and have a feature on their site allowing you to track shipping status. When I got my shipment, it was well packed and was exactly what I ordered. I plan on continuing to shop with this merchant.

I find the staff at all Wolf Locations that I have visited to be under trained and uncaring about any customer service needs. In particular the Colorado Blvd. store in Denver, CO has the most unconcerned manager I have ever met. Incapable of resolving service issues, Patty makes excuses on why her store is allowed to be sub par. I am a manager in customer service, I am embarrassed for Wolf Camera for having such a poor employee managing a store.

Bad Experience at a local Store in Cary, North Carolina

I have bought a dcr trv530 with the Expanded Service Policy from Wolf Camera. I turned in my camera for a repair on Jan 24th 04, on 14th feb they told me that this camera cannot be repaired and since this is a discontinued item, they will give me a giftcard for the amount that is written on my ESP document. Since then it has been 8+ weeks but I have not received it. On top, the local store who took my camera in do not return my calls, and when I go there, there response is we cannot do anything, this is with Corporate. So its more then 10 weeks since I first turned in my camera. The sales person there was not friendly at all. To me it looks like that these ESPs are waste of money and time.

I'll never buy again. I ordered a t.v. from their site one evening. After receiving their e-mail immediately after purchase informing me that it was back ordered, I immediately cancelled ( roughly 15 minutes after initial purchase, by e-mail as they directed). 2 days later they e-mailed me it had shipped. I called to complain as I had already made a new purchase elsewhere and they stated it had actually not left the warehouse even though I had been charged and they would stop it from shipping. I should expect a refund within 10 days. 30 days later still no refund and of course no t.v. . When I e-mail as to why , they stated that when they received it they would refund my money. I finally went through my c/c company to get satisfaction. They may be great as long as you get the product. However, I never trust a business that only pushes sales and virtually unmans the rest of their business. In the long run good service in the back equals great sales out front.

I bought a tripod from them and found it two minutes later at BH for over 60 dollars less!!! After browsing a litte, I found that wolf camera's prices were consistently higher than all the other well known sites (amazon, adorama, beachcamera, JR, etc.). Not just a little higher, but significantly higher. I ended up returning the tripod, because they were not able to match BH's price.

My shopping experience on Wolf Camera's website was terrible! The customer service was non existent and outsourced. We ordered an SD card which was suppose to be free after rebate. We should have known nothing in life is free. Wolf camera removed the link to the rebate on their website and provided incorrect information through their support people each time we contacted them. They eventually told us to use a rebate form for buy.com. We didn't use the invalid rebate form, but found the correct form on our own using google. We just received a denial notice of the rebate from the SD Card manufacturer stating Wolf Camera was an unauthorized agent for the rebate despite their website claims.

I ordered a webcam from Wolf Camera Online Store two weeks before Christmas. I chose them because they showed the item AVAILABLE--many places were out of that item--and said it would arrive before Christmas.

I received a confirmation of my order within a few minutes. So far, so good.

Then A WEEK LATER, they sent me A FORM LETTER saying that the "back-ordered" item I ordered was either discontinued [not so]or was unavailable.

This leaves me to try to find a replacement gift a week before Christmas. They should NOT have listed the item as available and said it would arrive before Christmas and THEN WAITED A WEEK to send a form letter (which indicates they do this often enough to have created one) and leave me to find and purchase another gift just days before Christmas. And then they had to nerve to send me junk email.

To cap it all off, they just sent me a notice saying that my order was cancelled and that if my credit card was charged, I should wait TWO BILLING CYCLES FOR A REFUND TO MY ACCOUNT. Unbelievable.

Worst experience with on-line shopping. Wolf camera charged my account, then Ritz camera charged it as well. Basicially I got double billed. When I called customer service the first time, they hung up on me. The second time I called, they said this was normal practice and it should clear up in 24 - 48 hours. It has been five days and the second billing still has not been removed from my account. So I have several hundred dollars in my account I cannot get to because of these people.

I ordered some scrapbooking supplies from this company because of the incredible prices, well I should have known that with the cheap prices their would be cheap customer service. I had no idea. Like the other reviewer said customer service is non existant. They are all very unhelpful and uncaring. Overall they SUCK!!! I guess they have a script that they stick to in order to make you think that they are on top of things and will get back to you as soon as possible via email or a personal phone call and they hurry you up off the phone or live chat. I will never order from wolfcamera.com again. Order at your own risk. Oh and by the way I still haven't received my order yet. Will have to let you know how it arrived if I ever do receive it.

This is a last store standing situation, the stock in the store is extremely low and mostly composed of extremely out of date clearance items from years gone by. the service is extremely poor and they will not stand with anything they say. I was in the store and asked about a clearance sigma teleconverter and was quoted 94 dollars, the salesperson was extremely rude and told me to find out if it worked with my lens and return if so. I did just that to learn that i was misquoted and even with the store and customer service admitting it was marked wrong i was told too bad for me the mistake has been corrected. This store has ZERO up to date items and its just a bait to get you in to "Special Order" Don't waste your time going here. Let them go out of business for the poor service, it looks like a good will store.

Stores like Best Buy Actually want your business and have new items in stock, for mail order go B And H photo.

store as a gift. We were sold on the idea of local sales and service support. We purchased an extended maintenance

extremely poor telephone sales service at Wolf Camera

I called Wolf camera to inquire about a Nikon F100. The guy on the phone has very little clue about Nikon products/lens. The he said he could not give me a price because his system was rebooting. After wasting some 20 minutes an a number of "can you hold on sir" and then he disconnected me.

I redialed(don't know why I bothered) and another sales guy picked up the phone. He was more knowledgeable, however I had similar problems. This guy also took ages to find the price, but alway cam up with the price of lens range or models that I did not ask for.

Seems like a Joke talking to these folks. I wonder if they just hire school kids who learn on the job. Anyway, after wasting 45 mins I did not get the price for the Nikon F100 or the f2.8 lens and flash.

Just to keep things straight, the service in Wolf Camera shops is far better and varies from shop to shop.

I'd stay away from Wolf Camera as if they were the plague! They accept your credit card, don't ship the order (I ordered on July 1st,2005 and haven't received my camera yet), refuse to refund and their customer service is the pits. Once they have your money - your finished!

Wolf Camera is now owned by Ritz. The Wolf salesmen at the stores that I stopped at in the Chicago area regularly badmouthed Ritz. They said that Quanteray (Ritz's generic supplier)was Sigma's (Wolf's generic supplier)low end. When the Wolf salesmen are on commission, they sell what is good for them, not the customer. The selling price is not idicative of how much they make. A high priced Nikon SLR may not earn them as much money as a low priced Minolta point and shoot. Buyer beware. They also badmouthed Canon to me, saying that it was the most repaired brand that they carried. They love to push Sigma, Minolta, and Fuji.$$$ Not a bad place to buy if you know anything ahead of time...just do not trust them.

Ordered a Canon EOS 20D from Wolf Camera during the busy Christmas shopping season. At first they claimed they were unable to authorize a price match on the item, despite their website's claims of low-price guarantees, but I persisted and 90 seconds later I had a price match. I ordered the camera and it shipped immediately, but I was amazed to find the camera on my doorstep a few days later - they had thrown in 2-day FedEx shipping for free!

If you are looking to purchase anything from them and they give you a hard time about price matches, remind them that their website guarantees the lowest price. As long as they think you've read their price match policies, they'll honor them. Also, when talking to them on the phone, you'll have a hard time finding a customer service representative who speaks English as a first language.

Nothing went right with my recent order -
1. I received an email stating my order was backordered and that I might cancel it if i chose to do so.
2. I received an email stating my order had been cancelled and was unavailable.
3. I called regarding billing and was informed that my order had NOT been cancelled- that it would be shipping the next day.
4. Three days later - I have received yet another email stating my order was cancelled.

And - My billing issue has yet to be resolved!

I ordered two digital photo frames. Five days later I got an email saying they didn't have those frames and "upgraded" me to a different frame that didn't have the same WiFi feature. I emailed back saying to cancel my order. Three hours later I got an email saying my order shipped with the "upgraded" frames I didn't want and charged my credit card without my permission. I'm convinced this is a bait and switch operation. It is illegal to bill me for something I didn't order. How can they get away with this?! I'm reporting them to the BBB.

I ordered some Christmas gifts (2 digital video cameras) on 12/6/06. The web page specified that the item was in stock and ships in 24 hrs. On 12/11/06 I received an email saying that they received the order. I wondered why it hadn't shipped in 24 hours, as promised! On 12/15/06 I received an email saying it had shipped - great! I will have it by Christmas, I thought! On 12/18/06 I received an email that my order was cancelled because it had been discontinued. Oh, and I need to allow 2 billing cycles for my credit card charges to be reversed. I called Customer Service and they could care less about my experience. I told them that, as of today, their web page still says the item is in stock and will ship in 24 hours - they said they would change it immediately. Well, a day later they still haven't changed it. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever been through!

I purchased a camera kit from Wolf's website after seeing it in newspaper ad. When purchasing it online a label "in stock" was next to image. After completing the order, including payment, received email stating that part of the order was in stock, but camera kit was on back order and would be shipped when received from manufacturer. Waited approximately two weeks then tried an online chat with a "customer service" representative, which from the syntax of the conversation, was located in a foreign country. She was unable, or unwilling, to give a firm shipping date of the merchandise, or to make a substitution that could be shipped immediately. I discontinued the conversation thread in exasperation. One week later after receiving an email telling me that Wolf had not forgotten my order. I sent an email to "customer service" asking once again about a shipping date for the merchandise. Today, 5-6 weeks later, I still have yet to receive a reply from "customer service" to my email. In the meantime, I did receive the merchandise five weeks after it was ordered. I have purchased camera equipment, both personally and professionally for years from other suppliers both online and by catalog. This was by far the worst experience in 30 years of purchasing equipment Either they did not forecast the demand, or waited until it was created and then placed the order with the manufacturer. Either way the customer lost as per usual in today's business environment.

tried to buy the nikon d40 and lenses and stuff for my son's class in school. Upon completion of the order was told that the camera was out of stock and on a backlist for 3 weeks. CS was very nice and helpful :-) Since we couldn't wait that long i cancelled the entire order and went into a wolf/ritz camera store locally to find the same items. not a big deal just not as convenient. thanks for having the most comprehensive insurance package ANYWHERE as this is for a teenager. AWFUL. I ordered the items, paid to have them rush delivered. They didn't arrive. Called customer service and was advised they were on back order. Requested the order be cancelled. 4 weeks later they ship the items. I have to send them all back. No credit to my credit card has been received. Called Customer service again to check on the status of my refund. Was to receive an email stating they were processing it. Still have not received the refund and or email. This has been nothing but one big hassel for me with no follow through on their part.

Customer service there is an absolute joke. They took two days to process the order and THEN I had to call them to confirm it which delayed the shipment yet another day. I think their Customer Service is someplace in India because they obviously speak English as a secondary language. I finally got the Fedex tracking number several hours AFTER the printer arrived. Shipping costs were considerably MORE than originally quoted. Then after all that, they told me there was a $50.00 rebate on the printer and when I requested the form to submit, told me "We are sorry to inform you that we accidentally pasted that notes. We cannot give rebate form to your order.We really apologize for this problem." I don't care if they do have the lowest price, stay away from Wolf Camera or Ritz Camera, or any other of the Ritz Interactive sites.

To get the advertised free shipping, I had to contact customer service (on-line) and they had to resubmit my order while giving a sales pitch for additional items. I expected the rebate to be with the items when received but later found it on the web site. Overall it was an OK experience. My experience with Wolf Camera was totally unacceptable. They overcharged me twice - on shipping and on the actual product. They tried to cheat me out of the free bonus items that were included in the special they were advertising. They made no offer of restitution. They were rude and uninformed -- even at the corporate office, not just the customer service dept. They canceled my entire order because ONE item was not available. I had to make countless phone calls to multiple departments to get my issues settled, and they still were unwilling to work with me in a professional manner to resolve my complaints. I will not shop here again, and I have told all my friends and family about this horrible experience. I have more important things to do than this, but the experience was just that bad.

The customer service and order confirmation precess are very difficult to use due to the non-english speaking representatives. The e-mail confirmation follow through was not completed until I called to question whether the order was confirmed. This took 3-4 times and several days before an e-mail acknowledged the confirmation. I still need a rebate form for the Epson Photo Printer I purchsed. This was not a good experience.

the experience was good until I got to the end of the order,and it told me that there were two orders(I only ordered one). I immediately sent an e-mail to your customer service informing of the problem. A day later I got an e-mail telling me not to worry that only one order was being shipped. Well, of course I received two orders for the same thing. I called customer service to inform them of the problem and how to ship the extra one back. This was an experience in itself as I was speaking to a person of Indian decent so you can imagine the barriers there. He told me he would send a shipping label to my e-mail the next day to use to ship the package back(after very much complaining by me). Well, the shipping label has yet to arrive, but I'm taking the box to the shipping office this morning evev though I will probably have to pay the shipping charges. I would hope that after you read these comments you would arrange foe me to be reimbursed for these charges. Getting the first package was good, but the rest was a "bummer".

This order was combined with a $100 rebate for an HP printer. Wolf did not supply rebate forms. Many, many emails about this went unanswered. Phone calls resulted in false promises. I was supposed to get a free album; this never materialized. On my own, I was able to find two rebate forms of $50 each. Last week I got a $50 check from HP; Ritz Camera has approved a $50 rebate and will soon mail. Wolf ships the merchandise very quickly and in good condition. Their customer service is non-existent. That is and was my experience. I'll never order from them again.

I receieved my camera in 3 busines days (great delivery time), although the outer camera box was not sealed, the camera and accessories inside all seemed to be - it came in good condition, with all that was promised. When I called to ask why this happened they said it was standard procedure, and had an attitude that I should know this. No where on there website does this mention this. And then the customer service person said that it would "Just go away" in a few days. In the meantime, my account was debited that amount. I'm glad I did not buy a thousand dollar camera from them or I would have bounced checks until the second amount "just went away." I am sorry they handled it this way, because I really like this company, but I doubt that I will ever buy anything from them ever again.

Disinformation from beginning to end. Said it would ship in 24hrs, it did not. I phoned the following week. Still hadn't shipped, didn't know when it would and would not cancel my order, said they couldn't and I could return it when I got it, but I would have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee. If you don't care when you receive an item, don't require tracking info, customer service or the ability to return the item with out getting gouged then these guys might work out for you. Personally, I will never order from Wolf again.

I thoroughly researched the product at other on line sites, compared the total cost(including tax and shipping),made the purchase easily on line, received the product in TWO DAYS ... no problems. Wolf has a really good on line store and they deliver as promised. Also, all like items were neatly listed and easy to check. The only problem I had was that I had decided to make the purchase on the phone and the dimwit I was talking to could barely speak English and could not complete the sale by answering questions.He had NO ANSWERS and knew NOTHING about photography. I ended up ordering on line and answering my questions by calling Canon's customer service. If I could have bought it direct from Canon, I would have, in light of that fact that Wolf's customer service rep. didn't have a CLUE!!!!! I aired that complaint with the customer service rep at Canon and they were not happy because it could have lost them a sale as well. First time ordered product, shipper Fed-ex ground sent it all over the place and then destroyed it. Trying to get a return/credit took nearly 3 months of multiple e-mails, phone calls, run arounds and finally received a refund for first time ordered product. They charged and shipped a second replacement which was received quickly and without damage. Their off shore service stinks and information was wrong. Multiple e-mails and phone calls to get this resolved. Wolf finally got it right, but I spent hours staying after them.

Camera specifications were poor. This camera is battery operated and drains the batteries much too quickly. I wanted to send it back and buy a Cannon Elpf but was one day over the "return deadline" so Wolf would not take it back. I intend to tell everyone at my firm about this very poor customer service. Also, the Olympus Master you must use to transfer pictures from camera to PC is cumbersome and is not compatible with my PC. I will sell this camera on my own and buy a Canon from another dealer.

Received e-mail confirmation that my order had shipped by the method I specified (USPS Priority Mail). But over 2 months later I received another e-mail confirming shipment was made by UPS. I called customer service (India) to further inquire why the shipping method was changed (UPS cannot deliver to an APO address). It is then that I learned that my order was returned to the warehouse. I replaced my order with another vendor (through Amazon) and received my full order in about 10 days. Wolf Camera needs to learn how to ship to APO addresses and provide better feedback if and when they encounter a problem. I need to buy more products, but I will not use Wolf Camera again.

The only reason that I rated the delivery of my item "almost on-time" was because the shipping company fouled up the delivery and this resulted in an additional day for the delivery. The ordering process was easy enough and had no problems in that area. The problem started after I received the item and it was broken. I took forever to get a RMA number and after I mailed it in it took FOREVER to get my money back and even then I didn't get a FULL refund. I had to purchase this piece of equipment by a specific date. I allowed the company several days just to get the online order and out of nowhere I get an email to confirm the purchase. I called customer service as requested and advised them that I had to have the money spent by a specific date and that I needed them to process the credit card. The $600 network switch that WolfCamera.com sold me did not work at all. They have refused to exchange the item, and their customer service representatives have been extremely rude and unprofessional, even threatening to hang up on me when I told them they had a legal obligation to sell a functioning product. I cannot state this strongly enough: DO NOT order from WolfCamera.com or its parent company, Ritz Camera. I live in Atlanta, and for years have shopped at Wolf Camera, the local company Chuck Wolf founded here. But since being taken over by Ritz Camera, things have obviously deteriorated quite a bit. My main regret is that I did not look at the other Shopping.com reviews before throwing my money away. Clearly I am not alone in having been taken advantage of by this unscrupulous company. Also, check out the Better Business Bureau listing on them. Shameful.

It was perhaps the worst online shopping experience I've had. After I filled in my order, the site told me the entire total cost and asked me to submit my order. I did. It showed a confirmation page, which I printed, showing that same total that I'd be charged. Then I received a confirmation email, with a HIGHER total that I was being charged. No explanation for the higher price. I called, spoke to someone named "Mark" in India, and was told "that's OK, because when we added it up, we came up with a higher total on our end." His site gave different numbers than the Wolfe site and original confirmation I had. He would not look at my confirmation, and said repeatedly that it was not a problem, that the higher price was fine. I finally had to tell him that this was illegal before he'd do anything about it. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and am letting them handle it.

The web site offered a printer with the purchase of a camera, and indicated an instant $ 50 rebate and a $ 50 mail-in rebate. I tried to order on-line, but the "instant rebate" would not enter. I called the toll-free number, and spoke with someone who was not fluent in english. He mishandled the order in several ways: 1. I ordered a black camera, but he sent a red camera. 2. I ordered a $ 15 memory card, but he sent a $20 memory card. 3. MOST IMPORTANT, he lied about the instant rebate and the amount my credit would be charged. He indicated that he had applied the "instant rebate" and that my card would be billed $ 250 when, in fact, he billed my card $ 300. This misrepresentation was fraudulent.

Double charged on my credit card, hard to get through to customer service, english speakers would be a big plus,had to e-mail you to get info on rebate, initial response was that I was not elegable untill I e-mailed copy of order form, you should of had and offered that information. and last but not least, it would be easier to get to talk to the Pope than to your accounting department.. Nikon Camera, bag and sd memory card arrived soomer than I expected. All was in excellent condition, however, the camera bag rated to fit "larger" digital cameras was not big enough. I received 2 phone calls from 2 people I could not understand because of their broken English. Both times they asked for the same information that I had already given them during the online ordering process. One or the other should not have been necessary. And...they should use people that can be understood when making the calls to verify information. I was told that they would not ship the purchased item unless I played their game and gave them the requested information, which they already had. Not a very pleasant experience and one I will not go through again.

The website wasn't as user-friendly as I needed, with my little knowledge of cameras. However, a friend had used the site and compiled a list of what would be helpful, and using that info I easily and quickly completed the purchase. If I had taken more time to explore the site I might have been able to do more on my own. The service was excellent and timely.

Did not receive prompt (w/in 4 days) e-mail confirmation. Eventual e-mail confirmation erroneously reported shippping status and gave wrong carrier. Unexplained 7 day delay to ship item reportedly "in stock" that "ships w/in 1-2 days". Item arrived much later than promised. Vendor ignored my request for an explanation. I will NOT do business with Wolf or Ritz again. I bought a new, high-end camera lens for my wife for Christmas, but shopped elsewhere.

The only problem we had was the tracking of the order. They could not tell me on line where the order was. only that it had been placed. I made a phone call and was told that it would be shipped in 4 to 5 work days and it was shipped in that time frame. I would have liked to have be been able to track it on line, not talk to India.

The lens I ordered was noted that "It would ship when received by the manufacturer." If there had been an estimated ship date, that could have set my expectations better (and I could have ordered cheaper shipping), as it was ordered as a Christmas present. I never received an update on a ship date, and finally asked if the ship-to address could be changed as we were visiting relatives. The package arrived after we left (and we did not get a ship notice the day it shipped). So, we had to pay to have it shipped back home as well. It was after we received it that we finally got a response saying they couldn't change the ship to address. Very poor customer service!

Price was very good. This is why I purchased from WolfCamera.com. I have had a problem with not receiving an advertised instant rebate of $100.00 that was supposed to have been taken off at the time of purchase. I have done their online chat service, spoke to two different operators (both who recognized that the rebate should have been applied to my purchase and one point it actually showed on order status but was changed back to the wrong price the next day when the order was sent ), and sent two different Emails one to the customer service on the website and one to the person in charge of Ritzinteractive.com the parent company of WolfCamera.com. But in the end of all this they never applied the rebate or have responded to my attempts to have the Satisfaction Guarntee that they claim in their advertising. I have never had this lack of response or service ever on the internet or at a store before.If this is not settled they have lost a customer who definitely has a long list of photography items to purchase in the future, but not from Wolf Camera or related Ritz Business.

A complete let-down. I ordered a MP3 player with them that said it was in stock. Since I was already placing an order with them and they had the printer ink I needed I ordered that too to save on shipping. But the MP3 player was my main concern. After I checked out and paid, I received an email saying my MP3 player was on Reserve and wouldn't ship right away, but the ink was on its way (and arrived on time). I ordered the player from another store (TigerDirect, which did a great job!) that could get it to me by Xmas, and cancelled my order with Wolf. While on the phone with the customer service agent when I was cancelling the order he said he didn't know why my MP3 player didn't ship because they had it in stock. Two and half weeks later, I look at my credit card statement and see they have charged me for the MP3 player. I look at the order online and see that it has been sent. I call and tell them i cancelled that order, they tell me the shipment is on its way and they can't stop it and I can refuse it when its delivered. I tell them, most of the time the deliver guys just leave them at the door whither I'm home or not. He tells me if that happens to call and get an RMA to send it back. I did that today. He said he would email the RMA to me. That was 12 hours ago, still no RMA. Hopefully, I don't have to call back about this again. And hopefully, they return my money without any more hassle. Lesson from this transaction - I will never shop with Wolf or Ritz Camera again.

I repeatedly received emails to contact customer service. After I contacted customer service I was informed each time there was no problem and order was on its way. It wasn't and each phone call I made was from overseas. Saving shipping costs was no big deal when I had to spend the money on long distance charges.

I was told by customer service that my item qualified for price matching by someone on the phone. Later when I called back to get the details of where to mail my request I was told by someone else it no longer qualified. Their call center is in India, you will never get to speak with anyone actually in the U.S. If you must buy from Wolf, go to one of their stores. I will never shop at this place again, they cheated me out of over $75.

Surprisingly smooth, despite having to call in and confirm the purchase on my credit card. I assume this was because of the high dollar value of the order. Shipping occured on the first available day (ordered over the weekend) and UPS delivered on the money. Rebates for the deal I received are kind of a hassle and were somewhat difficult to figure out despite years of sending these types of things in to receive my money back. It was as if they were trying to cause you to make a mistake so that they could reject the rebate. The web site was easily navigable and fairly clear. No real complaints other than the usual hassle over rebates and filling out the forms. I only wish I could get the same deals at the local store where I can touch and feel the items in question. Ordering without taxes online is a real plus and pushed me into making the order over the internet. Overall, a reasonably good experience from a company I had previously overlooked as having competitive pricing.

Ordered the product because price was attractive, however after ordering, I learned they didn't have it in stock and it was on backorder. Placed several calls and an email to customer service to try to learn when they may have the product, and could not get any real information other than the usual reading of the script. "Sorry, but we will ship it whenever we get it". After nearly a month, I called customer service again and found out that because that specific camera model was going out of production, they wouldn't be getting any so they would not be able to fulfill my order. They claimed to have learned this 10 days prior but never notified me. In the meantime, I had missed out on other opportunities to purchase the same camera at a fair price. At this point the order had to be canceled. I was also told that the pending charge on my Paypal account would be removed promptly, which it wasn't. It is still showing up on the account a week after canceling the order and calling customer service and Paypal. In summary, my complaints are: 1) false or misleading advertising in trying to sell a product they don't have and can't get, 2)ineffective customer service in not being able to provide any real information about the status of the order, 3)inability to communicate with the customer after they knew they couldn't get the order, and 4)inability to followup on the pending charge on my account.
