I needed a battery for my Gateway M505x laptop. Although there was only one review of atbatt.com on this site and it was not good, I went ahead and ordered one (since the existing review related a non-mainstream situation). My own experience was excellent. The site's ordering process was simple (on a par with any major site I've used). They gave me an email with my order confirmation. The battery arrived right on schedule (2-day), and it works perfectly. It charged up in only a few hours and seems to last as long as when my original battery was new.

The shoping experience was okay. I needed to replace sealed batteries in my two APC UPS and was able to find the correct replacements with ease. Also, the price was good and they offered a wide variety of shipping option. I used surface and the packages arrived within the delivery window quoted on their site.

My major isse with AtBatt.com is that they offer free battery disposal (I pay the shipping) by simply calling a number posted on their web site. I have tried calling a number of times but only get a voice mail and the "person" never calls back. Local disposal will push the price of the replacements to almost the same amount as APC charges for the replacement battery and they offer free disposal (they pay the return shipping).
