I purchased the product online. It said it would email be when it was being shipped. I never got a call. Over a week past and I decided to call Boaters World directly. They just said they would ship it out that day and I received it a few days later. Also, I don't like the fact that my credit card info was out there for so long with no one tending to it.

I ordered gift certificates. I kept emailing and calling. They claimed that the gift certificates had been sent, but I never got them. After 2 weeks of emails and calls, they finally read me the gift certificate numbers over the phone.

Was put on "hold" twice, by two different people, once for 15 minutes, the other for 10. Niether person seemed to know the product, the first put me on hold to transfer me to the second, but neglected to tell me that. The second person required me to start all over again with my order and information, then put me on hold again! I refuse to do business in the future with American companies that outsourse jobs to foreign countries. Boaters World has lost me as a customer, and I spend considerable dollars in the marine industry.

got the item on time but it would not work for my unit then when i sent it back there were some problems.apparently i was supposed to contact them somehow before i sent it back.after reviewing there return policy i still did not see i was supposed to do anything different than just send it back with an expaination of why i sent it back.they even supplied me with a return address tag for the return box.after two or three weeks of no refund,i contacted them by phone and the person i talked to was not much help as he told me he would follow up and make sure the refund was put back on my c.card.after another several days i called again,they had no record of someone talking to me earlier but this gentelman was able to get me reimbursed by the following day .they really need to clarify what to do if a person needs to send an item back.put some instructions for this with each order even or on your web site..thank you gary

I have used Boaters World for years. (Over $10,000.00 in 10 years) I do not know what happened but they are now impossible to deal with. I used to place the order, give my credit card number and I received my order quickly. Now they want passwords I never had for my credit card, I had to then call to verify my order and then had to call a second time to verify my order and all the time talking to someone in broken English which I could not understand. I finally just cancelled the order, drove down to my local West Marine and paid $50.00 more plus sales tax just to get what I wanted. I will most likely never use this company again. Thanks for the memories.
