Pros: lots of computer stuff, prices still pretty cheap
Cons: no product reviews, other stores have relatively small selections, no more coupons!
When buy.com first opened, their strategy was to use advertising to keep product prices low, generally below cost. It worked (at first) - prices were generally the lowest available online, coupled with very cheap shipping.

Pros: Fast service on in stock items, very competitive prices in some areas
Cons: Limited selection, sometimes inconsistent service
buy.com is very good. Not perfect, but very good. I am writing because they get it right a lot of the time. And that's pretty good, considering the number of companies that can't get it right at all.

Pros: They offer a wide range of products and offer lots of coupons

it has always been a good experience at buy.com and would and I do, recommend it to others. They have always dealt with any problems that I have run into quickly and to my satisfaction. tracking documentation and numbers are always there and easy to find and follow. I would like to see a better photograph of the items for sale. Sometimes it is quite difficult to make out just what a paticular artical may look like. They can at time be rather small and that makes it tough to see details too. Regarding rebates, I would really, really like to have an easier rebate process. It becomes such a hassle sometime I will just not purchase an item just because of the rebate. Lets say, I wanted to buy several things and they all have rebates, then the confusing paperwork nightmare that can ensue is often a really time consuming distraction to deal with and it ends up being easier to just skip it all and click on out'a there. I am starting to see and hear about other stores doing something like online rebates. Nothing to mail back or clip of or gather together, somehow it all is taken care of online - like it should be for an online retailer. I think it was staples or office max, one of the "office" type stores that I saw it at. I really think that Buy.com should look into this, I for one would definitely buy not things if I didn't have to always deal with those pesty rebate forms ect...
