Pros: usually cheaper than the big websites
Cons: Very unreliable. Rarely meet there shipping deadlines, and TERRIBLE *wretched* customer service.
Once you submit your order and give them your credit card number they send you an email telling you to leave them alone no matter how long it takes OR your order will be delayed even further. (seriously, i am not exaggerating)

I shopped here for three reasons: 1) Online surveys revealed to me that this was a reliable store, as well as being recommended by DPReview, 2) their price was better that anyone else's, and 3) they offered a nice supplemental package for our camera that suited our needs very well.

I purchased $1100 worth of digital cameras -- two of them -- from here. I'm a social worker and that's a lot of money for me. Two days later I noticed the price had dropped $50 on each camera. My order had been filled the previous day. (A week later the price was $100 LESS on one camera). I wrote customer service by email. They said to call. I called. They lectured me that the prices change by the hour and they couldn't do anything because "prices change like that." I wrote customer service back. They said I could call again. I declined. If they would have given me a $100 credit --- I wasn't looking for cash -- I would have bought my daughter a camera from there again. I would have spent another $500. In their stingyness, they loss my business. Smart thinking, guys.

ok, but customer service on the phone wasnt good. i asked for a case to be sent to me and they sent it to my billing address when i specifically asked him to send it to the same shipping address (which was different then the billing) as the pda.

Order was received within two days of placing order. Shipment included the manufacturers rebate form which expedited the process of obtaining the rebate. Camera and accessories was very well packaged. Very pleased with the experience. Will definitely check Buydig for future purchases.
