Pros: Lots of stuff, lots of bargains Cons: If you're too trusting, it's easy to get scammed
The greatest, most evil thing in the WWW universe.
I love Ebay for several reasons – the bargains, the mass-quantity of stuff available, the ease of use and tracking system. No where else can you find hot tubs and Buffy the Vampire...

Pros: many users, exposure for selling, lots of items Cons: fees, problems, downtime and ineffective ways of doing things
I have been a dedicated eBay-user for over three years, since I stumbled across the site by accident in search of an old childhood toy. In the beginning, eBay was a reliable and abundant source of unique or special items I found myself desiring. I also...

Pros: ease of use, quality merchandise at great prices Cons: dangerous addiction can result from use
WARNING!! This Internet site is not for white-faced, red-knuckled cowards who refuse to take their creditcard companies to "The last full measure of devotion..." to borrow a line from "Gettysburg." Oh, how I wish someone would have...

Pros: Can find anything you want, sometimes for ludicrously cheap prices Cons: Be careful and know your prices!
Ebay is an absolutely fantastic service! All it takes is a quick search, and you'll realize that you can get absolutely ANYTHING that you want (within the accepted eBay range, of course) on this marvelous service. In fact, eBay is SO popular that...

Pros: Most well known auction site. Best place to sell. Cons: High listing costs. No longer viable for small time garage sale.
I've been with ebay since its inception. I remember the days where there were no categories and no such thing as feed backs and there were probably about 100 to 200 items listed at most. Now it's a monster. I write this epinion from 2 perspectives.

Pros: Find and reach a large market for your items.
Cons: Bounced checks.
Non-paying bidders.
Since most of the epinions here deal with purchasing items on ebay I thought I would approach this epinion from a sellers perspective. I have been selling on ebay for several years and have a positive feedback rating of close to 450. (Feedback is what...

Pros: Inexpensive products, you can get rid of what you don't want, pretty safe & secure Cons: Have to watch out for cheaters, sometimes sellers don't respond, addictive
For me, it started with apparel. I had a ton of clothes that I didn't want to wear and nothing to do with them. After trying to trade with friends, and knowing (although selfishly) that I didn't want to just give it away to charity, I decided to go on...

Pros: Get hard to find items. Easy to navigate. Cons: None for me so far!
I found eBay last winter. I live in Alaska and wanted to find a collectible hockey card of Scott Gomez (the Rookie of the Year in the National Hockey League last year). Since Gomez is from Alaska, you could not find any of his cards in the state,...

Pros: Make money selling, and have millions of unique items to buy. Cons: Potential for scamming, time consuming, addictive
I haven't been writing many Epinions lately, and the reason why is my Ebay habit. I've been writing product descriptions for my own merchandise, and enjoying it very much. I'm also making decent money.
I sell jewelry, clothing, plant...

Pros: Lots of great brands at really great prices. Cons: Might buy more than you intend to
I heard about ebay on a sitcom several months ago and was intrigued. I went to my computer and looked it up and I was immediately hooked. I live in a small rural community and the nearest "good" shopping mall is an hour and a half away. I also have...

I went on to Ebay looking for some rare items and found everything that I needed at a good price. The only problem I had was the item never got delivered even after I spent payment. After I couldn’t get a hold of the seller I decided to file a...
