After waiting seven weeks from my pre-order of the textbook, the college bookstore finally let me know that it had arrived. I went to the site and that is when I first learned the price. I had to purchase my last book for the semester but I did not want to pay that price. So I started comparing prices at different sites. Most sites did not have a picture of the book, which was a problem because I needed Volume I and there is also Volume II, and add to that fact that most sites did not have whether the book they had was Vol. I or II. I finally got to textbooks.com, found the book with a good picture of it and saying it was Vol. I. At textbooks.com, I paid $93.62, plus $11.99 s&h. At the college bookstore, it was going to be a total of $149.40. I saved $43.79 by going to textbooks.com. The site was easy to navigate, description was clear with a picture, easy checkout, and I had my book in two days! I will be going back to textbooks.com for my future textbook needs. I would wholeheartedly recommend this site to anyone who is looking for textbooks.

I sent my book in good condition and they told me that it was damaged and they were going to keep the book and if I want my money back I had to pay 13.00 more. It was very unfair. They didn't care about how much i spent for that book almost 80 dollars. I think they lie to me about the book was damaged to keep the book.

I have been shopping at textbooks.com for about two years now and have purchased several books. They have saved me so much money!!! Their prices were literally half the price of my college's bookstore and usually around a third less than the other book retail stores. Every book I have received from them has been like brand new (I always buy used); the shipping is free and they deliver quickly. You can even sell some of your books back without the hassle of responding to buyers and such like other web sites.I highly recommend this company!!! I promise you, that you will not be disappointed. Let's put it this way...this is the only site that I have written a response for, so that's got to tell you something. Take the hassle out of ordering college books with textbooks.com.
I shipped back my text for their guaranteed buyback, my text with the disk was packed and shipped by the UPS store here in Minot ND their number is (701) 838-7870.
They claim I didnt include the disk and wont give me a dime or my text so that I can resell it.
The book I ordered arrived on time. The problem came with my "guaranteed buy back". This company will not buy back books as promised-- when they arrive at their warehouse they provide an excuse not to reimburse the consumer.

I ordered my books on a Tuesday and received them about 7 days later. Although I would of preferred for their arrival sooner, I was definitely satisfied. Not to mention it was FREE shipping and handling. I purchased two used textbooks but upon receiving them, they were in excellent condition! NO HIGHLIGHTING OR MARKINGS ON EITHER BOOK! PRACTICALLY BRAND NEW! My overall experience was excellent! They were easy to find and was glad that they had the books I needed! I saved $50. I would definitely recommend this website. Will be back next semester to buy my books for sure!
I purchased two books on 21 Aug 08 and never received them...(Obtw, I paid for the express shipping too). I double checked all my shipping data and it was all correct.
Over the last two weeks I could never get a status (because I had never received an email stating my status information). I had only received a confirmation email that the purchase was made.
After sending a request status email on the 8th of Sep, I could see my order had been cancelled!
I should have received an email stating TEXTBOOKS.com had cancelled my order.
I WILL NEVER TO BUSINESS WITH STUDENTSHOPPER.COM or TEXTBOOKS.COM ever again!
I received this book faster than any other book I have ever ordered. It was here in just a few days! I would definitley use them again and again if this is the kind of service they provide!! Read more
