Pros: Good selection of movie titles, no worry about late fees Cons: Not worth price if don't watch at least 5 - 6 movies per month
Since joining NETFLIX about 9 months ago, I have not set foot inside my local video stores! I've had a steady stream of movies to watch with no worries about hefty late fees if I forget to return a movie on-time (especially new releases!)

Pros: Great selection, convenient process Cons: you have to rent enough films to make it pay.
I have been a subscriber to Netflix for a year and a half, ever since I signed up after buying my DVD player. My problem with local video stores was that their selection was absolutely wretched. New releases were usually sold out, and their selection of...

Pros: No late fees, movies send to home via mail Cons: "Only" four at a time
When I told my local Blockbuster not to expect to see me back, I figured this was probably an empty threat but since I have discovered the Marquee program with NetFlix.com, I can keep that promise.
My brother introduced me to NetFlix; he...

The prices on dvd players finally hit a low enough point last year (May 2001) for us to splurge and buy one (a Toshiba 2150 which has served us well, incidentally). To me, watching a dvd is much, much better than watching vhs. The picture and sound are...

Pros: Ability to pick from a large selection of DVD's from the convenience of your home. Prepaid envelopes to return them in when done. Cons: Extremely poor customer relations
A couple months ago, I bought a DVD player after my VCR was on its last reel. In the box was an offer from netflix, for twelve free DVD rentals. I decided to try out the twelve free rentals and see if I liked their program. I also talked to a...

Pros: No Late fees, no running to the video store Cons: None yet
I had never heard of Netflix before I opened up my brand new Toshiba DVD player and there was a little flyer in it that said I would get 15 free rentals. Well free is one of my favorite words so I figured I would check it out.
Then I get to...

Pros: Outstanding selection! Cons: Too many out of stock titles, slow shipping now
Well, my first review got lost somewhere, so I'll try again. I apologize to any of you who attempted to read it and got that annoying "not found or deleted by author" message.
I signed up for Netflix over 7 months ago, and for 5...

NetFlix is an online movie rental. I been using it for almost 4 weeks and I already watched 17 movies. The most dvd I get in a week is 6 and the least is 3. So for the $21.99 plus tax which is $23.98 I am pretty much getting my moneys worth. I watch the ...

I signed up under the free trial period and canceled within the first month. It was 3 out for $19.95/month. The first 3 movies came about two weeks after I signed up, the next movies all came 10 days later, if they came at all. Four movies they sent to...

Add me to the list of discontented. I've been a Netflix user for about 18 months. At first it was great. I had the occasional lost disc every now and then but otherwise pretty good. Delivery was 2 days, sometimes 3. Fast-forward to 4-5 months ago. ...
