I'm a good amateur photographer with good equipment (Sony DSC-F717). Based on my comparisons (in Jan. 2003) with Ofoto and Printroom.com, PhotoAccess is the BEST! (I ordered prints of about 20 varied images from each on-line photo printer; the...

I take alot of pictures with my digital camera. People depend on me to provide them memories they can store in an album. So far Ofoto and Shutterfly have not been able to produce quality pictures my friends and family are willing to purchase....

First, my background. I shoot digital and primarily produce images for display on a monitor. For the occasions when I want to do a print, I'll use PhotoAccess. Typically I'll do prints in 8x10 format, or 4x6's for proofing. The 8x10's get custom...

PhotoAccess site is more like an application than a web site. It is really easy to use and to organize photos on line. Best of all there are no limits on the number of photos that can be uploaded or the length of time they can remain on the site. The...

Pros: Easy web site, great prints, digital camera format prints, quick to print and ship. Cons: Prices could be better. Got slightly better prints from other sites.
I have used digital cameras for years and have used several web based printing labs. Like shutterfly.com and ofoto.com. While ofoto did deliver better prints they had a more difficult interface and I needed to crop my 1600 by 1200 pics. I love the...

Pros: Variety of items (mugs, mousepads, keychains etc) for photos Cons: mediocre photo quality, price
PhotoAccess one of the 3 dozen or so online digital photo printers to survive the latest round of dot.com shakeouts will probably survive, although they are far from the best.
They do have a large selection of items for photos. Unfortunately...

Pros: good options for digital photos, custom cropping Cons: photo quality is lacking
Photoaccess does have some interesting features that aren't available on Ofoto (the other photo site on the web, with which I am most familiar).
For example, Ofoto lets you choose from standard print sizes -- 4 x 6, 5 x 7, etc. Photoaccess...

Pros: excellent for sharing photos, quick uploading Cons: photos not impressive, site slow at times
Let me start off by saying that I am an avid photographer and to this day prefer taking pictures using film versus using a digital camera. HOWEVER, I love sharing my photos with friends and family. Out of all the photo album/sharing sites that exist...

Pros: free prints, custom sizes and 11 x 14's Cons: poor print quality, poor user interface
Recently a large number of photo storage sites are popping up on the web, so as an avid photographer who recently discovered the thrill of digital, I'm always checking these sites out. PhotoAccess.com not only offers storage, but printing services as...

I tried using the services of PhotoAccess.com after taking about 100 pictures with my digital camera on a recent vacation.

Pros: Tons of free prints, pretty good quality, easy upload, unlimited storage Cons: Disconnects occasionally
Until PhotoAccess.com decides to try making money, I've been taking full advantage of a program which effectively lets you and your friends get up to 1,000,000 free photo prints.
It's very simple. Sign up for free (of course), download their...

Pros: Very inexpensive, convenient to upload, nicely designed site Cons: Big Backlog, Will this site last? They give alot away free and their service is slow - people don't want to wait forever for pictures.
I like the Photoaccess system. A couple of my experiences with customer service:
a) They are presently backlogged on free photo's -- I have been waiting 4+ weeks for my photographs.
b) They shipped me a large coffee mug that I...

WOW!!
This site offers 150 free digital prints (4x6 size) just for signing up.
(By Jan 31 2000) They will only charge you $1.50 for shipping for each order, even up to 150 prints.
I am amazed at the freebies all the startup...
