Pros: Cheaper fees than others. Cute print graphics for envelopes. Cons: Slower, less compatible, more difficult.
I send a good bit of mail. No, scratch that, I send a TON of mail! I am always looking for the most reasonable, most convenient way to send it. Any shortcuts are helpful.
I decided to try out some of the internet solutions to postage....
If you didn't already know ClickStamp NO LONGER EXISTS. I wish Epinions would update their site more often. FYI ClickStamp only exists for people who signed up before they switched over to their $18.99 a month for ShipStream Manager software Another ...
Pros: works well with office software Cons: many technical problems
This is a weak product offered online. Allot of my time was spent talking with technical support. The software loaded and ran too slow. I got allot of error messages.
To get ClickStamp, you have to download the software from the Pitney...
Pros: Convenient, easy to use, low fee postage service. Cons: Slower then E-stamp, Requires you be connected to internet to print postage.
When E-Stamp notified me they were discontinuing their on-line postage service. My first thought was "back to sticking stamps on my outgoing mail again." Just when I had E-Stamp running and working to my schedule.
Pros: Much cheaper than other services; free digital 5 lbs scale promotion Cons: Need a web browser to run software; not intuitive, a lot of problems
Recently I started a small home-based business, involving quite some mailing, so I looked into Internet Postage options. First I tried Stamps.com, and was generally happy with it, but did not like the cost. ClickStamp Online seemed to be an excellent...
ClickStamp Online is another in the online postage vendors. With the increase in service price for Stamps.com, I decided to give them a try. ClickStamp Online is offered by Pitney Bowes, a leader in the postage industry and that gave me the confidence...
This reviews comes from a former stamps.com user. After downloading www.pitneyworks.com, it took about 20 minutes to get the activation code in an email and to begin printing postage. The service fee is only $1.49 a month. Which is charge to a credit...
Pros: Easy to print postage, for CHEAP! Cons: Not easy to get refunds on misprinted postage; hard to set up.
After looking around for a cheap way to print my own postage (for the limited amount of selling I do on Ebay), I came across ClickStamp. For just $1.49/month, you can print all the postage you want, which is great.
TERRIBLE customer service!!! by mrbille ,Feb 09 '04
Weird interface, but I got it to work. Customer support is AWEFUL. If you call them, they tell you there is nothing you can do but e-mail their support. A lady in their billing department says that they have a lot of problems with unhappy customers, and nobody can answer the questions.
Don't use this service. It's not worth the effort.
If still in service, I'd recommend, but no go. Bummer! by cathy4thcb ,Aug 04 '07
From the PitneyWorks site: "Effective May 13, 2007, Pitney Bowes will stop providing the ClickStamp® PC metering product and ClickStamp® PC metering product support. This decision is a result of Pitney Bowes ongoing business review process and does not affect any of our other online product offerings."
This is really a shame. ClickStamp was the easiest and most inexpensive online postage system I've been able to find.
