Pros: I saved money! Cons: I wish the response was faster (immediate).
I had heard both good and bad things about Priceline.com's Airfare Service.
I travel quite a bit, and wish I'd found (or, had the courage to try) Priceline.com earlier... The first time I used Priceline was GREAT!
I can usually...

Pros: incredible deals from time to time Cons: system only allows two entries in a 24 hour period under the same name/subject.
The much talked about priceline.com where Captian Kirk from Star Trek buys his tickets. This site is easy to use and offers consumers the chance to bid for airline tickets, hotel rooms, mortgage rates, etc. he incentive to using this service is that you...

Pros: gets you good ticket prices. Cons: No refunds, no exchanges, no way of getting out of it.
I think that priceline is a great thing. You give them the price you want to pay for a ticket, they find it and give it to you. They even have things that you can do to even get more of your ticket such as switching long distance services or applying...

Pros: Great ideas and technical implementation Cons: Very poor food assortment and brand selection
I was extremely happy to buy a return air ticket to Calgary,
Canada for $200. Expecting same level of quality of other
Priceline services I tried to buy food. I was excited of the
idea of joining major grocery stores into one network ...

Pros: money savings opportunity... Cons: got to have flexible departure times...
I have used both expedia.com and priceline.com for buying air tickets...
As one of our friend suggests in his opinion, EXPEDIA is NO better than PRICELINE. one of our friend who has reviewed before definitely is biased.
Both have their have...

Pros: Easy to use; convenient Cons: Must give credit card number on line
This is one, satisfied believer in the value of Priceline.com's airline ticketing "clout."
I needed two, round-trip tickets between Los Angeles and Denver, during the Christmas '99 season. First I called several airlines, and was...

Pros: Great deals Cons: inconvenient waiting
I am mostly thrilled with my first experience with Priceline/WebHouse Club. What I got to do (and this is the best part!) was go to the priceline site and name the prices I wanted to pay for certain items at the grocery store. There are a wide variety of...

Pros: Fast, efficient, no hassle car buying. Cons: Dealers not available everywhere yet- cars are a new thing for Priceline
We just bought a car on the internet with Priceline.com, and I'm very impressed.
Their site was easy to navigate, and had complete, up-to-date information on all the vehicles we were interested in. We had done some internet and footwork...

Pros: Cheap Tickets Cons: Only good for last minute travel
I have tried used Priceline several times, with limited success. Priceline has never ticketed me for less than the advance purchase fare, but there was one time that Priceline was able to get me a ticket for about the advance purcahse fare when I waited...

As a college a poor college student living in Chicago but going to school in New York finding cheap tickets home is important. The first time, I flew home I bought tickets for three hundred dollars round trip but that was through a travel agent. The...

Pros: easy to use, you get bonuses, no hassles at the airports. Cons: cannot get a ticket as a gift for someone else.
I have used Priceline 3 times now for air fair. I always start out by checking out the airlines directly. Then I visit other "low cost" on line sites. I always end up with Priceline. They are fast and convenient. I have found that getting...

Pros: Great way to get lower priced fares. Cons: If you get a ticket - you can't make any changes.
My boyfriend started using Priceline.com last year. Since our first experience, we've gone back several times again. Priceline allows you to place a bid for airline tickets - then, they check with all the major airlines to determine if anyone will sell...

Pros: Nice sound byte in the commercials Cons: Product doesn't live up to the hype
Like many, I've heard Capt. Kirk expounding the benefits of "Naming your price for the lowest airfare". What a trap that turned out to be.
For a recent trip from New York to Pittsburgh (normally a 1.5 hour trip), I had to take the...

Pros: Cheaper airfare - excellent service. Cons: Can't experiment - Credit Card # is charged if you bid!
With Priceline.com you must read the rules, know what is going to happen either way, and be prepared to live w/the choices you make! I am extremely happy with them and here's my story :) My parents moved to South Texas from Alaska and here me & my...

Pros: Easy and actually fun to use. Incredible savings! Cons: Can't choose the exact brands that you want.
Wow... I'm now a believer. The Priceline Groceries service is killer! I would consider myself to be a net-consumer, meaning I enjoy trying new things on the net as long as they are not obvious scams. Even though I know 3 people who work for Priceline,...
