Pros: You can save money Cons: You have to be flexible.
Priceline.com has its advantages and its disadvantages. I have used it several times now and have had different results.
The first time we used it we were not sure how the system worked but we learned in a hurry. I think the trick is not to...

I like to fly cheap without 14 day notice. Having heard about priceline, I was eager, but scared to use it.
I wondered if I'd be on a mom n' pop plane or if I'd be flying in the cargo hold.
Before I bid, I searched on the web trying...

Pros: I've heard they've tried to improve Cons: Difficult to use
My husband and I used Priceline last summer to buy tickets to a friend's wedding in Boston (we're in Texas). We're both in graduate school, so money is very tight and we didn't have much to spend.
We put in the price we wanted to pay - which...

I only used Priceline once, but I did use the name-your-own-price deal. It seems some people think that you HAVE to use that on Priceline, not true. They have regular flight bookings too, where you can choose the time of day and the price is listed, no ...

Pros: Cheap fares, minimum hassle Cons: Once bid is accepted, it cannot be changed for any reason.
I have used the Priceline service twice within the last year. The first time was for airfare between Ft. Lauderdale and Chattanooga, Tn. The second time was for a rental car for 1 week, originating in Florida. I got the airfare for $175.00 round trip,...

Pros: ability to bid Cons: Terms not adequately disclosed; terrible cust service
Problem:
Requested a ticket SFO-ATL-SFO, departing 27 May 2000 and returning 30
May 2000, and opted for "off-peak" travel periods. Priceline delivered
a ticket for departure 28 May 2000, at 12:35 am, which is the wrong ...

Pros: Cheap Cons: Prepayment, you could get undesirable travel times, no FF miles.
For leisure travel, I strongly recommend you give Priceline.com a try. I have used Priceline several times, and so have friends, and we've had good luck.
I used them last year to get a full sized car from Alamo in Las Vegas for $15 a day....

Pros: Possibility of good rates Cons: No guarantee of the level of service
Just how much of a great deal can one get through priceline.com when booking a hotel? Truth be told, one never knows until it is too late to turn back. The policy of Priceline.com (and the reason it can offer such "good" deals) is that once...

Pros: best price out there! Cons: you must use a credit card
I recently used priceline.com to purchase airline tickets from Wichita, Kansas to Norfolk, Va. I needed to fly with short notice and I was worried about what the cost of this trip was going to be. I called the usual travel agencies and was quoted prices...

Pros: CHEAP cheap cheap!! Cons: Can't choose flight times
I am tired of reading unreasonable complaints about priceline.com. 90% of the time it is because people don't understand their policies and airlines. I have seen complaints that someone's flights were delayed, cancelled, etc. What does this have to do...

Pros: cheap, easy, fast Cons: non-refundable, non-changable, non-transferrable
Ok people i work for priceline. I have read many of the opinions of priceline and would like to add my comments. Priceline is really great for people are willing to be flexible for the sake of savings. Honestly, I'm sick of everyone whining about...

Priceline is a shady business. You are allowed to bid, but prior to this you have to give your credit card information, and this means they will automatically charge you as soon as they find a bid for you, without your confirmation. The tickets are ...

Pros: Possible significant savings Cons: Terrible customer service
I was reasonably happy with my tickets and the price. However, Priceline does not offer an option to provide them with separate billing and shipping addresses. I called them immediately upon acceptance of my bid (one day BEFORE they shipped the...

Pros: Quick Response, Good Prices Cons: No Refunds, Plans Destroyed, Dreams Lost.
I have used Priceline.com five times. The first four, were adequate experiences. To get the price I wanted I had to have transfers, fly on their schedule, with iron clad agenda. The fourth time, I arranged through Priceline.com to have my Son and...
