Pros: possible savings Cons: hidden charges tacked on
Watch out next time you buy airline tickets on priceline.com Obviously, they make their money by adding fuel charges and taxes which are so unfair, they agreed to cancel my transaction when I confronted them.
I selected priceline.com to save...

Pros: efficient Cons: Blind bid, no way to reject a booking
I used priceline for air travel from SF to Little Rock, ARK. I feel I will always be second guessing if I could have bid less (probably). Wish I had read this site first.
My dad had a stroke and I needed to fly out right away. From the...

Pros: You can get really cheap tickets, when you're strapped for cash. Cons: Customer service is less than decent, and you cannot pick what airline you fly on.
I've used priceline on a couple of occasions, and while I would recommend it, I also recommend using priceline with EXTREME caution!!!
Priceline is great for people who are looking for dirt cheap tickets, and know exactly when they want to...

I had made a bid on a flight from Maine to Colorado. The flight that was eventually given to me contained 2 connections. That was no problem for me given the price that I had been awarded.

I selected this option because it has a good reputation with most of my friends and it seems like a good deal...until I actually purchased tickets. I considered many other services, but priceline did have the best deal...until I got my confirmation....
