Pros: name your price on your terms Cons: done deal, no turning back
If you want to get airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars, etc., for the price, YOU want to pay, then you have to check out Priceline.com.
Before you type in your requests, be aware of their policy. There are several stipulations, but if...

Pros: Definitely a good value, price-wise. Cons: Minor logistical hassles; I don't recommend for perishable items or people with 'must-have' brands.
I was initially skeptical about this whole 'name your price on groceries' thing, given that I'd never had a single price accepted on the regular Priceline service.
Also, to me grocery shopping is a sensual experience: I need to squeeze the...

Pros: can save you money and online Cons: time consuming, travel plans must be flexible
I frequently buy airline tickets online. Usually I go directly to the airlines home page but recently have been trying out a few online services like Priceline.com to see if I can find better prices.
I have bought tickets through priceline...

Pros: If you can get your bid accepted, it CAN save you money Cons: Customer service and policies are very unfriendly to the consumer
I must admit, I have used Priceline a few times and was able to get a few good deals on some tickets, and as long as that is your story, you are fine. BUT, have a problem and you are out of luck. Without going into the horrific details of my recent...

Pros: Good Price ( undoubtly ) Cons: Too much hassles.
Priceline is very good for budget-minded people who are very flexible about travel date. For students and employees whom for us time is very important, you better watch up.
Well, let me tell you the story about me and my girlfriend had to face...

Pros: Massive savings. Easy, convenient, fast. Cons: Non-changeable, non-refundable. Also, concessions made include departure/arrival times, and no choice of airline.
I don't want to drive a quarter of the way across the nation to visit friends. I don't want to spend upwards of $200 for airfare each visit either. I've also become money-conscious over the years. I've found priceline, and so far for me the benefits...

Pros: Shop from home, big savings Cons: Sometimes items are out at the market, also keeping items separate in the basket is a drag
I first used Priceline in January after my Mom gave me the card that she got in her Sunday paper. I read the information and was a little afraid of what I might encounter but I said "What the heck?" and plunged right in! The very first time I...

Pros: Better price on airline tickets Cons: chance of a bad itinerary
If you know how some of the airlines operate, you can take advantage of some of the "restrictions" Priceline lists as options. I will explain how I received my price and received a better itinerary because the "winning airline" could...

Pros: Sounds too good to be true Cons: It is
I was in a pinch. I needed airline tickets in a hurry and all the quotes I received directly from the airlines were well above my allotted budget. I was only flying domestically (and a rather short flight at that), but as I said it was last minute....

Pros: Good for last minute plans; timely; other offers included Cons: Will not let you bid on the same trip more than once
I'm naturally skeptical about everything. If there is a hitch in something, I will find it or it will find me. So...I am happy to report that Priceline.com was a pleasant experience for me TWICE.
I should really tell you about the first...

Pros: cheap airfares Cons: no immediate satisfaction; obnoxious requirements
So here’s the deal:
I live in the middle of Iowa. My boyfriend lives in Boston. I am finishing up college and he is earning a pittance at his first real job. We like to see each other whenever possible, but we’re both about as broke as we can be....

Pros: Incredible savings on groceries Cons: Time consuming and brand limitations
Several weeks ago I decided to try out a website I had seen advertised on television several times, Priceline.com. Priceline allows you to set your own prices for groceries, airfare, hotels, rental cars and more. I have only utilized their grocery Web...

Pros: Cheap, fast delivery of tickets, good airline! Cons: You may have to sacrifice convenience for the cheap price.
Priceline.com does exactly what they say they will do. They search the airlines for you and try and find the price that you want. They tell you from the start that you may not get the times that you want, and you may not even get the airports that you...

Pros: It is 5- 40 % cheaper. People have overpaid sometimes Cons: Not for me . I think it is not for any reasonable travel.
Priceline Airline Tickets
Priceline model is not working. I tried once and it was a big mistake.
1) You do not have a way of rejecting the ticket if you do not like the time of travel on that day. I had a 6:30 daytrip to Wast...

Pros: for the VERY flexible traveller, occasional super deals Cons: #1 can't bid more than 1 time on same routes and dates, not a true reverse auction
I don't like Priceline and here's why:
Cons
1) You can't bid for the same dates of travel twice.
2) You can never be sure of the flights you get.
3) It's not a true reverse auction
Pros
1)...
