Pros: Save $$$ Cons: Time Consuming
It took me quite a while to jump on the band wagon of Priceline.com. Mainly because I didn't need to save on shopping. I'm 19, my parents do that for me :) But then I got my own apartment, and the price of food really hit me.
I remembered...

Pros: saving money Cons: none so far
I tried Priceline.com after seeing the green cards at Winn/Dixie. This could be the way to do your grocery shopping!
On my first trip, I was able to get 32.00 worth of groceries for 16.50 and was very impressed. I will definitely be a...

Pros: An interesting use of William Shatner's Talent. Cons: They don't answer the phone much anymore.
To be honest, I was surprised to see WebHouse remaining on the "epinions" board. Since they went belly up, I figured epinions would have little use for the remaining datum.
For a few months, WebHouse cards were as prolific as AOL discs...

Pros: Major savings, convenience in shopping from home Cons: Limited items available at present
I recently received a promotion from a local grocery store to Name Your Own Price for groceries, which included a Webhouse Club Card from Priceline.Com.
Being an internet afficionado, I visited the site (www.priceline.com).
A...

Pros: There is none Cons: Save your money
You know this is a waste of time and your money. What you need to do is try it first, don't take my word for it. For some people it work's and for other's it doesn't. You are on line doing your grocery shopping, first you put in the price that you...

Pros: SAVE MONEY AND GET NAME PRODUCTS Cons: PROGRAM HAS BEEN STOPPED SUDDENLY
I was a great fan of Priceline.com and constantly used it for all of my groceries and pet foods. Why, then, did they take it off the market? Were we finally saving some money? Were they losing customers? I was sent an e-mail telling me that Priceline for...

Pros: good savings using the tokens Cons: unless you used the 1/2 priced tokens the savings was not great if any at all.
I had checked out Priceline when the grocery and gas program finally reached Houston. I was excited. When I had checked out their prices, The stations that participated in the program was the highest priced gas stations around, so unless I could get 20...

Pros: Convenient, easy to understand, free priceline card sent to you in the mail (by request) Cons: not enough choices, does not compete very well with supermarkets
I admit, I have used this a few times, but I find that I get better deals by going through my store's sale paper, and finding good sales, equal to, if not better than the prices that priceline gives. I still also find that the things that I need in my...

Pros: Chance to save some dollars. Cons: Filled with pitfalls.
When we started using this service about two months ago, it was everything that Mr. Shatner said it was; on TV.
You could bid your price on nearly all the categories on the list.
Now the changes are beginning to appear,without...

Pros: NONE Cons: poor customer service. lost $$$$$
I used the Priceline Webhouse to buy gas. It was a nightmare from the very beginning. It took over three weeks from the time they charged my credit card to the time I got my gas card. I e-mailed them a half a dozen times with responses that didn't come...

Pros: Up to 50% off (sometimes) Cons: You have to put everything on your credit card
I have a few problems with Priceline. They make it sound so good in the ads but in practice it’s a pain.
You have to have to chose what discount you want to go for and the better the discount the worse your chances are that you will get it. I...

Pros: save money Cons: have to choose coke and pepsi, and could end up with either
I have used priceline about three times so far. They have a pretty good selection of groceries. I logged on. made a list of all the groceries that I wanted and submitted it for approval. Within a minute the list was emailed to my email address and each...

Pros: food to your door, don't have to move Cons: you lose the joy of shopping.
Food shopping is one of life's greatest joys. Everytime I go to the supermarket I am overcome with feelings of great pleasure. I skip merrily through the aisles, tossing foodstuffs into my cart from 20 feet. How elated I am to live in an age when my...
