Pros: convenient , fast Cons: If you don't have a credit card, you can't purchase postage
If I could choose just one way to get my postage, Stamps.com would be it. It is the most convenient online postage site there is. All you need is a printer, a PC, and a credit card. I use A LOT of postage everyday and going to the store or the post...

Pros: Sound like a good idea Cons: It isn't.
I downloaded version 2 and printed 16 envelopes. They all printed fine except 11 of them were missing that black bar code thingy making them useless. I figured, what the hell, I'll just send them in for a refund.
Do you realize what you have...

Pros: none Cons: expensive, pain in the butt to use
Like ruff, I was not thrilled with stamps.com. You either have to print the stamp on an envelope, or on a label. The labels are very expensive, so it becomes costly.
Also they charge you per month for this service. This is not a real time...

Pros: none Cons: The liar, the jerk, the professional bullshitter and his trainee-just about everything about their customer service sucks
Everything else about Stamps.com is fine, but I definately have to say that their customer service is the worst I have ever come across. It isn't unusual to get wait times of 40 minutes or more when you call their 800 number. Even worse, it is a...

Pros: quick and easy very handy Cons: monthly fee
I first started using Stamps.com in January 2001. You can download the software off of
the web site or request a CD. It takes about 10-15 to get set up and then you are ready to
print. When I signed up they were giving you $10 free postage with...

Pros: Easy to use, never run out of stamps. Cons: High monthly rate.
The scenario plays out like this: one last bill to send, no more stamps to send it with. Throw on your flops, and it's off to the post office you go. 15 - 20 minutes later, your bill is on its way. Stamps.com eliminates this hassle by allowing you to...

Pros: Fast, easy to use, You do not have to leave home! Cons: Does not recognize ALL addresses
How did I ever live without Stamps.com? I hate going to the post office! Where I live, it does not matter what time of day you go in, there is a line a mile long! I was always late getting by bill payments in on time because I kept putting off that...

Pros: No standing in line, easy to use Cons: Not able to use return envelopes
Stamps.com is a wonderful service! I just signed up the other day, and I am already sending out more letters than I would if I had to go out and buy stamps. Forget going to the post office ever again, you can even print out postage on shipping labels...

Pros: Don't have to go to the post office Cons: Too much trouble
I signed up for Stamps.com because they were offering $20.00 free postage. I find it somewhat easy to use but it is too much trouble to log on and go to the site every time you want to print postage. It rejects some of my addresses and states that...

Pros: Very convenient Cons: Horrible customer service, too many misprinted stamps, difficult recovery process
Well, at least it was a good idea! The evolution of the product has been horrible!
I have used the service for a while, mainly because of the convenience and the free offer. But ever since my free evaluation period ended, the service has gone...

Pros: none Cons: No customer service.
I closed my account, I never received refund for unused postage, which states on their website "you will receive a refund within 15 days, I was billed the minimum charge for the next month. I emailed the so-called "customer support" three times, I still...

Pros: They ARE going out of business! Check out CNNFi...Stocks are down. Cons: I'm out $45.00 plus $1.99 for two months when it wouldn't work....
When I first signed on (a little over a year ago) I got the best service from anyone I'd ever done business with. I had no problem getting setup, I did have a printer problem, but the very kind Customer Service representative had me going in a few...

Pros: Nice, free gifts. Up and running same day. So convenient. Cons: No int'l. No discount. Poor address importing. No USPS guidelines for do's and don'ts.
This is also a rebuttal to Ruff's "Stamps.com is for Sucker like You" 4/3/00.
I recently tried out Stamps.com and decided to use their trial period, swearing I would cancel at the end of 30 days, just to get the free postage and other...

Pros: Fast, Efficient, and Great customer service. Cons: Already had to come out with another version to correct the "multiple computer problem"
I first saw stamps.com advertised on TV. I thought that it was a great idea, being how I'm in college about 1,500miles from home and I still need to mail bills, cards, etc. And I'm extremely busy during the day and the Post Office is usually closed by...

Pros: Free $20 worth in postage. Cons: Nearly impossible to cancel your account.
I've been trying to cancel my account with Stamps.com for weeks now, without success. So I keep paying $2.99 per month in service charges through my credit card, even though I'm no longer using Stamps.com.
The Stamps.com Web site provides no...
