Pros: Are there really any? Cons: Expensive!!!!!!!
I saw the banner ad. I clicked on it. It seemed like a great deal.
I gave them my e-mail address. They sent me more information, and said if I provided them with my postal address, they'd send me $25.00 in free postage, just for trying out...

“Thank you for choosing the “Simply easier” way to get postage right from your printer.” I cannot agree more with the previous statement quoted from the Stamps.com package that I received in the mail. I began using printer postage with the Pitney...

I decided to start with an online postage service to save me the hassle of taking two children to the post office twice a month. ( Have you ever noticed the post office brings out the worst in kids?) I shopped a few services, and they basically wanted...

Pros: No waiting in line at the post office Cons: Can't think of any!
Stamps.com was the first online postage service that I had heard of, mainly because their initial marketing scheme was visible all over the internet. I originally used it simply for personal use, and although at that time you were not able to print...

I was one of the first to try out stamps.com, a while before they started offering it widely. At that time they were offering a limited amount of accounts, and I was lucky enough to be among them. I had to download the software, and the initial offering...

Pros: Have an Internet connection? Have postage! No security dongle required. Versatile. Cons: Fixing misprinted postage and sending QA envelopes costs money. Lesser value for the casual user.
Okay...I lied. You will have to go to the post office to drop off packages, have special delivery pieces postmarked and to buy reindeer stamps. You needed to get out of the house more often anyway, right? There are times, with any service, where you...

Pros: Convenient Cons: Ugly end product
Though the convenience of printing your own postage is wonderful, the visual effect of the postage screams "SPAM" and I want all of my correspondence to be taken seriously. The postage itself is a huge printed blob of ink in the top right...

I'll be honest, the main reason I love Stamps. Com is because I did very well with their stock. I can buy a WHOLE LOT of stamps now.
