Pros: easy, convenient Cons: no bookrate, had to buy a scale
Why didn't someone come up with this sooner? This is the greatest idea ever! Printing postage straight from your computer. I originally decided to try this when they were offering the $25 in free postage, but since I hadn't upgraded my browser (ever)...

Pros: Print postage for everything, from letters to Priority packages Cons: Some problems with printer compatability can happen; Representatives need to be better trained on the live support
Like many companies and businesses, I received the free Stamps.com CD and offer in the mail. They give you $20 in free postage and waive the service fees for the first month for trying installing their program and trying their service. Since I...

Pros: 24/7 postage Cons: download
I recently signed up at stamps.com because it is so much easier to print the stamps off on your printer than have to go to the post office for them. Stamps.com also has a free offer going on that allows you to get $25.00 worth of free postage. Sounds...

Pros: they give you $25 in postage to start out with, other pro's are too numerous to mention Cons: some people might be bothered by the service fee and the fact that you have to be online to print postage
About a couple of months ago I got an email from E-Stamp.com telling me about how they were going to revolutionize internet postage and if I wanted to be part of the revolution all I had to do was go to their site and sign up for $50 and I would receive...

Pros: Convenience! Cons: Doesn't handle all envelopes
At first I was very skeptical about trying a "postage at home" service. I believe someone sent me an invitation to try Stamps.com and receive free postage for checking it out. Now I ask myself why I waited so long?
The software is...

Pros: convenience at a reasonable price, returns of damaged postage allowed Cons: you could accidentally ruin postage
Stamps.com is a great idea. Every time I print out postage I think this must be just how it feels to print your own money. Well almost. After all the government printed all the money and stamps until now.
To get my business,...

Pros: Very Easy to use, Great Customer Service. Cons: Can't think of any right now!
I saw stamps.com advertised on my ISP opening page several times. I keep thinking that would be too hard too much trouble and I'm not going to mess with it. I ran across it again one day and saw they were offering $25 free to start up. I love anything...

Pros: Stamps on demand! Easy to print, easy to buy more. Cons: Have to be on-line to print postage
I decided to open my stamps.com account today. They lured me in with a an offer of free postage. I send priority mail packages on a regular basis so I thought I'd give them a try.
I had minor troubles setting it up because I couldn't set up...

Pros: Convenient Cons: Can be difficult to get started
When I first started with Stamps.com, I received a coupon for $35 a free postage. I downloaded the software from their web site (what a mistake!) and I was on my way. The download took way longer than I thought it should have, even connected at 49,000...

Pros: high-tech looking static on your envelopes Cons: wastes paper and time
This is a poor solution to a non-problem.
I WANTED to love Stamps.com, but as I sat down to use them while I paid my bills, I found that there were several CRITICAL problems:
- Because you must print the entire envelope, not just the...

Pros: Convenient, requires no special hardware, no leases, no refill fees, no expensive proprietary supplies Cons: Must connect to the Internet while printing postage
As someone who has used the extremely expensive (rental / supplies) home postage machine from Pitney Bowes, I was a little skeptical when I received a free trial CD ROM from Stamps.com.
I thought -- how can they do that when Pitney Bowes...

Pros: Fast and easy to use Cons: Takes time to get postal license, can't print envelopes with windows
What can I say. I was skeptical that it would be worth the service charges but I have been pleasantly surprised. The pros really related to the ability to quickly print postage without the need of the "vault" device from eStamps. The only...
