Pros: None worth mentioning. Cons: Need credit card to register. Fees to sell. Hard to find products. Small community.
I admit it. I used to use Yahoo! Auctions all the time. Face it, there was no listing fee! But now that fees are charged, Y! Auctions is a ghost town.
Ebay can get away with listing fees, but Y! Auctions can't. The reason people will pay...

Pros: Easy way to find hard to find items. Cons: People do rip people off, even with feedback ratings it's hard to know who you are dealing with.
I love online auctions. Out of over 100 winnings, I've only had 2 bad experiences. It became very addicting to me because of the variety of
items offered. I started my habit with beanie babies, and have moved on to bigger items. Most of the sellers...

Pros: Easy, Fast, Fun Cons: Need to be prompt and FAST or rude people will leave bad feedback!
Do you have old items you no longer use that are in great condition? Clothes, movies, posters, books, CD's EVERYTHING can sell on Yahoo auctions! What do YOU have to do? Take a little time to put the auctions up and then email the winners! Other than...

Pros: Huge customer base Cons: It's free...
I'm sitting trying to think of ONE thing that Yahoo! Auctions has that no others do. [Things that are good... because there is plenty of bad to watch out for]
One thing Yahoo! has that no other Auction community does IS community. Yahoo's...

Pros: Fast Searches Cons: Not as much as a selection as others but its Up and coming, Remember?
Many people have resorted to the Internet for buying. Since then a new thing called Internet Auctions came about. It mostly started with a very small corporation by the name of Ebay. It was a major hit among Internet shoppers and sellers. Now more and...

Pros: Very user friendly and easy to list auctions. Cons: Not as large as eBay but free to list.
Where can you go to buy and sell on the internet and have fun doing it? Yahoo! Auctions is a great service and best of all, IT'S FREE. Of course, being a seller, I have also tried other services and eBay is just as good, but is not free. I have...

Pros: cute name (Yahoooo) Cons: difficulty in navigating
First I would like to say that I have never sold on Yahoo Auctions nor bought anything off of a Yahoo Auction . But there is a reason there . The site is somewhat of a headache to navigate . And the system has yet to accept any of my bids .
Every...

Pros: easy to use Cons: lack of selection
Yahoo! auctions are good, but they are in no way eBay. A few reasons: first off, from experience prices seem to be higher on Yahoo! That just might be for things that I have searched for and not everything. Second, there are in no way as many...

Pros: Free auction Cons: Too risky
I tried Yahoo Auctions for a little while.
Got burned twice, and decided the world of internet auctioning wasn't for me.
I got turned on to a different site by a friend a little bit afterwards and discovered that not all internet...

Pros: FREE and easy to use with large amount of users Cons: Not as large as ebay
Don't let my title fool you because I love Yahoo! Auctions. I was merely illustrating the fact that the subscriber base can't compete with ebay's because everyone always mentions ebay when talking about online auctions.but they have a pretty large...

Pros: none anymore! Cons: bad exposure!
Okay, this is the deal. As of January 10th, 2001, Yahoo Auctions is going to be charging Sellers for listing auctions.
Now, you may say that this is no big deal. But, it is.
1) It'll drive prices up, because sellers will have to list their...

Pros: Free Cons: Not as popular as ebay
I am not really an auction fanatic like some people I know. In fact, I would consider myself a novice since I have only purchased about a total of 3 items in the past year via an auction site. On top of that I don't have anything worth selling other than...

Pros: cheaper than Ebay Cons: little variety, less customers, difficult to search
This is one of the only cases when Yahoo is second (or farther back) best. These auctions are a lot more fair for the buyer, I will give it that... but that is because Yahoo is not as used and bided on as Ebay... But sometimes more is better for the...

Pros: FREE to use - EASY to use - GOOD sales! Cons: none at all
In my opinion, Yahoo, is the best thing I have found on the web! I have tried a lot of other point/pay programs as well as a "zillion" ways to make money from home or make money using my computer, but so far, Yahoo has brought be the greatest...
