Pros: They add counters for you. Cons: can't change category when re-submitting.
When I first started to sell on Auction sites, I used Yahoo first, because it was free. It was easier to learn, and not at my own expense. I never got any bids on anything, and it became kinda frustrating. So I moved on. Now, I decided to go back and try...

Pros: free listing, free automatic relisting, better for buyers Cons: much less viewers than eBay, products will sell for much less than eBay, smaller bid increment
The good thing about yahoo auctions is that there is no listing fee and you can relist your item if it doesn't sell for free and yahoo will do this for you automatically. I have placed a few things on yahoo auctions because of that, but afterwards...

Pros: Free, Nice Alternative, Good Change to Win Auction Cons: Not a lot of action
Yes, I buy and sell on Ebay. And yes, I love it.
But, I really get tired of bidding wars that can go on, and I really get tired of having to pay fee's to put an item up for auction and a fee for when it sells. I made than money, and it rally gets...

Pros: None Cons: It WAS free, now they're adding fees-there goes the best thing about Yahoo.
Yahoo's biggest perk was that there was no listing fee. Now they are adding fees to "improve quality of their website." That's a great goal, but all things considered, Yahoo still falls short. There are not that many things listed. A search for...

Pros: Free listing-no commission Cons: Fewer sales; limit on no. of pictures
Much of what has been said about Yahoo and ebay auctions is true. I have found things to buy on Yahoo that I could not find on ebay, and vice versa. I would recommend that would-be-buyers check out both places. However, for sellers, I would recommend...

I wouldn't want to write an in-depth account of an auction site. I must point out, however, that their commitment to the end user experience is lacking compared to, say, eBay - perhaps Yahoo are trying to cover too many bases these days. The feedback...

Pros: Free. Cons: Limited exposure. No enforcement, frequent backouts.
There is no comparison between Yahoo Auctions and Ebay. Wouldn't even pretend to try to compare. For one thing, Yahoo does not charge! Therefore, there is no great incentive for Yahoo to police its auctions as Ebay does. But, should you have something...

Pros: Good site. Nice products. Cons: Limited on products not very easy to find unusual things on.
About a year ago I signed up Yahoo, it was around the same time that I signed up for the world famous E-bay web site. I was very interested with this web site I was trying to determine which site was better yahoo or E-bay.
I was about the...

Pros: free Cons: none
I recently put some items up for auction at both eBay and Yahoo auctions. I prefer Yahoo over Ebay for one main reason: cost. Ebay takes away a percentage of your earnings. Yahoo is completely free and very easy to use. I don't know why anyone would...

Pros: easy surfing-helpful-free to all users Cons: small compared to e-bay
Why is Yahoo better? Well first of all it costs $0, that's right NOTHING to sell--unlike E-bay. Yahoo allows us, the buyers/sellers do all the work. I have been selling/buying for almost a year now. It's very smooth and with already having a Yahoo...

Pros: Free service Cons: Had a bad first experience
Maybe your experiences with Yahoo! Auctions are better, and I definitely hope so, and I like the yahoo.com in general big time, but my personal experience with Yahoo! Auctions was awful. It was a nightmare.
I had all these textbooks, over 90...

Pros: Buy at a discount Cons: You can get carried away
I feel that Yahoo auctions is not up there yet but it's on it's way. They don't have as many items and the different categories but you can still get good bargains. Now I'm into jigsaw puzzles and they had quite a few at some good prices. I have...

Pros: It's alright, kind of a cheap E-bay with better navigation Cons: Horrible auctioneers, unreasonable prices, worst customer service
The least I can say is that their auctions are terrible. About a year ago, Pokemon was cool. My daughter wanted the Pokemon Gold and Silver for her Gameboy, which hadn't been released in U.S.A. yet. So, we scavenged the auctions at Ebay with no avail,...

Pros: no fee to sell Cons: just about everything, go take a look
Well, basically Yahoo! Auctions are okay if you want to buy Ebay leftovers that no one wanted. Yahoo! Auctions don't appear as exciting as Ebay Auctions. They are not as easy to use, the format is sometimes confusing, and there are hardly any good...

Pros: great deals Cons: too much scrolling
I love going to auctions for sales to help cut down costs. One thing I like about the yahoo auctions is the pictures that are shown when you first pick a category but I don't like all the scrolling you have to do to find what you are looking for....
