Pros: They make awesome sales Cons: some people are JERKS
I was visiting Yahoo! auctions one day to see what I could buy for myself or someone else. I came across something, and decided to bid on it. I found it EXTREMELY cheap for something so cool. But, anyway, I placed my bid, and kept looking back. Every...

Pros: Easy to use, Image hosting. Cons: They now charge a listing.
Update (1/20/01):
As of Jan. 10, 2001, Yahoo Auctions has made several changes which will affect Sellers. First, they eliminated the 1000 items per month limit (which is good) but secondly, the auctions are no longer free for sellers (bad,...

Pros: option other than Ebay, trusted site, set up very user friendly Cons: A lot of reserved price items
Hats down to Yahoo. An auction site that is a near match to Ebay. Not to say that I don't love Ebay, but it is nice to always have options.
This site is basically the same as Ebay except that there are no costs to sell items.
I find...

Pros: No commissions or fees! Cons: Items may not get any bids
I have been buying and selling sports memorabilia on the Internet for 2 years. I currently have an ebay rating over 500 (purple star), and over 100 for Yahoo. You receive 1 rating point for each successful transaction. Over time, a large positive...

Pros: when everyone leaves, I'll get more traffic at Lycos Cons: no service, robot PR people
I used to be a huge supporter of Yahoo auctions. Boy has that changed.
They have initiated too many new policies lately that were difficult to understand and driving bidders away. But I was willing to stick to it, hoping it would improve...

Pros: Free, simple, many options, auctions are in a decent order. Cons: none so far.
Yahoo Auctions is my favorite online auction house. Yes, ebay can be great, and has a lot to offer, but so does Yahoo Auctions. There are just as many, if not more, great reasons to use Yahoo Auctions.
Yahoo Auctions catagories are broken...

Pros: Anything you ever wanted is there, and for less! Cons: Watchout for those imitations!
As the internet becomes more popular and businesses turn to e-commerce, I have decided to try some online deals myself. Yahoo! Auctions, basically connects buyers with sellers. You can search the site for almost any item you would ever want to buy,...

Pros: Easy site to navigate, wonderful selection Cons: Not as big a listing as EBay
The first time I clicked on the Yahoo auctions site many moons ago, I was nervous. I didn't know what to expect. What if I see something I like? How do I go about bidding on it? What if I change my mind? Everything else offered through Yahoo so far...

Pros: Super low prices Cons: Not a lot of visitors
Having been selling on eBay for several months now, I finally decided to try to branch out into other auction services. I must admit that the reason I first tried it was to try to sell some things I had purchased on eBay. I figured that it would be...
