I had sold item`s on Yahoo for the past year, starting in January of 2001 and recently switched over to Ebay. Why you ask? Ebay has more people looking at their auction site and you get better bids too! Now don`t get me wrong I was quite happy on Yahoo...

Pros: Good Variety of Items Offered Cons: Might not get exactly what you thought you were getting
I am an avid collector of old vases! I have cut glass, pressed glass, pottery like Mc Coy and Haeger. With Yahoo's Auction I just enter a keyword for what I'm looking for (vase, glass or pottery)then everything that is up for bid is listed. I can either...

Pros: Lots of bargains Cons: none really but be picky
Yahoo auctions are pretty good for finding hard to find items and pretty good for finding a bargain. I have bought and sold on Yahoo and really have nothing bad to say about it.
My husband collects Football cards and i have bought him tons at...

Pros: very user friendly Cons: caveat emptor feel
I have been using Yahoo! auctions for about a year now. I have both purchased and sold via their auction site.
Logging to any Yahoo! service also logs you onto the auction site. This makes it easy to access auction services.
For...

Pros: interesting items, easy to manage selling, free Cons: hard to search
I've made alot of money through them. They do not charge a fee like Ebay. You can remove bidders with negative feedback during the auction, and at the close of the auction. Also as opposed to Ebay the only people that can leave you feedback are those...

Pros: Smooth navigation's. Cons: None that I can think of.
Auctions.Yahoo to me is a good place to go, No charge to list items for sale, a very large selection of thing to bid on, and it has smooth navigation's even for the beginner.
Yahoo auction site offers thousands of item's in many categories,...

Pros: none Cons: very little buying traffic
Yahoo Auctions do not get nearly as much traffic as Ebay auction. A friend of mine had a very difficult time trying to sell the popular Furby toys via Yahoo auctions. When she tried selling them on Ebay, she had absolutely no problem.

Pros: variety Cons: confusion
I found yahoo auctions when I was looking for an alternative to ebay. I discovered they have strange rules and fees. I decided to not join after I had trouble browsing in the auction categories. Yahoo seems to be having trouble with their different...

Pros: Free listings, new additions/improvements all the time Cons: Smaller customer base than eBay
I've been selling exclusively on Yahoo! auctions for just over a year, have closed over 200 auctions, and have made a good profit without having to pay to do it. Since my selling is a hobby (I'm selling off an extensive personal collection of...

Pros: Free listings, No percentage on sold items Cons: some sellers/buyers aren't very trustworthy - always check feedback
I think Yahoo Auction is great. The best part of Yahoo Auction is that it's absolutely free for sellers and buyers. Many of the other auction sites charge a listing fee and collect a certain percentage of the amount that the item sold for.
Yahoo...

Pros: Free & Easy Cons: None at all!!
After a few months using eBay, I noticed that the fees for using eBay & using Billpoint as a payment method were adding up & I just wasn't making the money I was looking for. Also, I was finding it difficult to add an image, without having to...

Pros: Some good deals and Free Auctions Cons: Far and few between items that I am frequently looking for
The last year or so, people have been taken to online Auctions, with good reason. Often times, people are getting rid of stuff, they no longer want, and price it as such. However, you need a great network of sellers, for a good Auction site. Of...

Pros: Easy to Use, Wide Selection, and Detailed Information! Cons: No Bad Aspects
A few months back, my 3 year old lost her favorite doll at the mall. After searching high and low, we finally found one just like hers on one of the auctions on Yahoo Auctions. Needless to say, it was going to be my very first time using or...

Pros: Free for seller, no fake feedback, security measures Cons: Less name recognition, therefore slightly less variety of auctions
I know a lot of people feel that eBay is the superior auction source, but I have reasons to prefer Yahoo both as a seller and a buyer. As a buyer, I love the fact that on Yahoo, you can't give someone feedback except in reference to a specific item. This...

Pros: Finding great bargains and selling with ease. Cons: None other than watch the ratings and feedback when buying and selling.
I just recently started buying and selling on yahoo auctions and oh god what can I say I am totally addicted. I love to bargain shop and this is a great place for me to do this. I have 3 children and when I can find a bargain like I do on Yahoo, I jump...
