Ease of use?
I've tried X:drive several times, both because someone got incentive. It really didn't work for me. I had to download and install a program that created an extra drive on my computer. I'm not computer illiterate, but when I transferred files to the online drive, it only created a duplicate on my own hard drive. (this does not help if the computer crashes and dies and needs reformatting.) For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to get the information to their hard drive.
Accessing and sharing?
It seems that you can only access your files with your user name and password. Apparently you can set up other people with user names and passwords, but I would like it if anyone with the URL could see the files. The files don't seem to be transferred in great bulk, therefore it might take quite awhile to "back up" your hard disk.
Overall?
If you can get it to work, great, but it seems to me it's not an easy program to use. It *is* free, but if you want something easier and a lot more room, stick with www.freediskspace.com.
