All Advantage is another one of those "get paid to surf" programs. Their viewbar sits on the bottom (or top) of your screen, beckoning you to click on their blinking banners and go spend lots money on their sponsors (we all know that's how they make their money to pay *you*, right?).
All Advantage is the largest and longest-lasting "paid to surf" program that I have encountered so far, and I have also found them to be the most trustworthy.
As I said before, All Advantage works on the premise that you look at their sponsor's ads, you spend money at their sponsor's sites, and the sponsors continue to pay money to advertise on All Advantage, and in turn All Advantage uses that money to pay you. Of all of the "paid to surf" programs that I have used, All Advantage is my current favorite.
It's plain and simple: you put their banner on your screen, and for every hour that you spend staring at their ads (not literally:)), they pay you $.53 (that's the current rate quoted on their website as of 10 minutes ago). You can surf for up to 15 hours (that's a pretty *sad* amount of hours if you ask me), and you need to accumulate $30.00 before they send you your check.
Referrals can go four levels deep (you refer someone, that person refers someone, and so-on) and you are paid for them as follows: $.10 per hour for your direct referrals (the people you personally refer), and $.05 per hour for extended referrals (the people that your referrals refer). Yes, you get paid for someone else to surf the web! Nice, isn't it? If only I had some referrals:)
All Advantage also has the most attractive viewbar that I have seen.
Sure, the banners still blink and scroll and move around, but that's what your going to get no matter which "get paid to surf" program you choose. The viewbar, though, has a nice sleek little area on it that you can use to search for a topic or visit the All Advantage website. It also has a menu which pops up and you can shop, get special deals, or look at other websites. Unlike some other programs that I have seen, you do *not* have to click on the banners to earn your money, and clicking on the banners will not earn you any more money either. Less work, I think.
All Advantage works in good old-fashioned dollars (or one of the many other currencies used all over the world), not points. I'm not fond of the "paid to surf" programs that use points. They're more confusing and I just plain don't like them. It's nice to be able to see exactly what you are doing without having to worry about points and how much is each point worth.
Anyway, I've been a loyal All Advantage member for about one year now, and have received several checks from them. For the most part I've never had a problem with either the program or the software, and the one problem that I *did* have with the software was easily solved by the customer service staff. I've found them to be more reliable and easier to use than any of the other programs that I have tried in the past year.
I will always keep on looking, though, and I will try to keep you posted if I find one better!
Update:
After looking through All Advantage's web site some more and doing some mathematics, it has occurred to me that All Advantage is not as much of a personal money-making machine as it used to be. The payable hours were reduced from 25 to 15, while the the minimum pay-out amount has *increased* from $20.00 to $30.00. Now, with the hourly rate being only $.53, you personally are only going to make roughly $7.00 a month.
Also, if you are like me and have no referrals, it will take you four months to get up to $30, and that's only if you surf for the full 15 hours. I used to be able to get a check every month, and now I have to wait *4 months??!?!?!* for a single check?
This is so incredibly sad... the only conceivable reason that could be doing this is because they are losing a large amount of money... </b></b>
