Shortly after I purchased my computer, I was reading an article in the newspaper about people getting paid for surfing the internet. To me, this sounded too good to be true, almost like Amway. You know, you get a call from out of nowhere, a "friend" who you haven't heard from in years who wants to get together with you, and then tries to con you into paying for the privilege of a part-time job. Well, after reading the article, I decided to take the plunge with All Advantage. Seven months later, I am still satisfied.
This is a interesting concept to me, getting paid just to have an advertising bar on the bottom of my computer. Being new to the computer world, I found the viewbar helpful to guide my way around the internet. Half the time, if I am reading news or sports, I don't even realize the bar is there. I was a bit nervous after my dollar amount reached $25.00, when my check was supposed to be sent to me. After a few weeks, I was almost convinced this "check" was not coming. However, two months after I signed up, my check arrived.
You will not get rich on this, unless you have lots of friends sign up. But, if you are surfing the internet anyway, why not try this? Use the money to fund a investment vehicle for yourself or your family. I use the money for a savings account for my daughter. Over time, the money will add up substantially. One recent drawback is that the number of paid hours has been cut from 25 to 15. At $.53 cents an hour, it is not much, and the checks will not be cut until the account balance is at $30.00. Oh well, they make the rules, I guess. But, I am still getting paid!
