Taking a break from my marathon series of Amsterdam oriented Epinions, I am suddenly compelled to add my accolades to the long list of Google praises.
Since the demise of Alta Vista I've been using Google and always come up with the information I'm looking for. With search capabilities that cover a billion web pages and advanced search functions that allow users to filter out unwanted noise, Google is by far the finest search engine available to the online masses.
Don't take my word for it. Judge for yourself by attempting the following demonstration:
Open Google and enter the following text:
on.the.internet knows.you.re.a.dog
NOTE: If you're feeling lazy you can just open the following URL where I've already typed in the search string for you, but don't tell Epinions that I'm including a link because I've been told that it is a violation of the Epinions user agreement since it makes Epinions web pages load funny... 3 foot long Epinions... just make sure to get rid of the space between "internet+" and "knows" that I've included here so that the Epinions page doesn't wind up longer than your arm...

You'll note that a "wildcard" space has been left out of the middle of the sentence between "internet" and "knows". This is to give Google some leeway with the optional blank which could be "no one", "nobody" or nothing at all.
So... go ahead... try that out... I'll wait until you return to Epinions...
... did you do it? Good. You'll notice that there's a big long Gooooooooooooooooooooooogle at the bottom of your screen yielding hundreds upon hundreds of hits of this fairly nonsensical -- but highly popular -- sentence.
