I'm fairly new to the paid2surf arena, but I've been checking out many of the programs offered. AllAdvantage being the most popular, I started with it. Seemed to work ok, the viewbar did take up more space than I would have liked, but I guess that is the point...they want you to see their ads.
Some important things to know about this service.
1. The service not only eats a bit of screen space, it uses RAM and bandwidth, so you will notice things don't move so fast.
2. You only get paid for ACTIVE surfing time (about $.5/hour). If you are idle for about 30 seconds it will stop logging time until you do something...you will have a small circle on the left of the viewbar that is either red or green for inactive and active respectively. If it goes red while you are on a page...simply move your mouse, usually this works.
3. Referrals are the only way to really make it worth it. They pay percentages of your referrals and their referrals. That's two-levels deep for you networkers ;^)
but!
4. You will only get paid for your referrals to the extent you use this service yourself. For example if you log 7.5 hours for one month, which is 50% of the maximum(15hours), you will only get paid for 50% of your eligible referral pay...nice touch , huh?
5. They do pay. I get checks from them, and they don't bounce.
:^)
