DESKTOP DOLLARS NOW PAYS YOU TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO!
Desktop Dollars (DD) is another "Pay To Surf" program that pays you after you download and install their adbar. To join go to http://www.desktopdollars.com, Click on the "Join" tab, fill out the registration form, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you will have to fill out the parental consent form. You will choose a User Name and Password, Read the Terms of Agreement and click the "Join" button. After you join, you will be able to download "ProfitZONE" from their site. Click on Download, button near the top of the page and follow instructions. The adbar you will be downloading is called "ProfitZONE" and you will get paid to watch advertisements that come up every 30 seconds on the bar. The bar can be docked at the top or bottom of your monitor. (To redock, click on your right mouse button while your cursor is on the "X" in the upper right hand corner of the ProfitZONE adbar, choose Dock Top or Dock Bottom.)
ADVANTAGES OF RUNNING PROFIT ZONE:
1. Unlimited Hours: The important thing to remember with DD is that you get paid UNLIMITED HOURS for being on your PC (that is when you are running the adbar on your desktop). Unlimited hours includes getting paid while online, reading and writing email, talking in chat rooms, or using your office programs.
2. Money: A percentage of their income from advertisement will be paid to you. DD will pay you UP TO 70% of money earned from their advertisers. 45% goes directly to you while the rest will come from your referrals. The amount earned for February was $.23 cents per hour for yourself. February payments were mailed out April 21, 2000, and March payments will be mailed May 21, 2000, etc.
3. Referrals: You can earn a percentage of money from people YOU referred who are also running the Profit Zone on their desktop. For your Level 1 referrals, you will receive an extra 10%, Level 2 an extra 5%, Level 3 an extra 2%, and 1% for Levels 4-6.
4. Desktop Dollars Debit Card: Formerly known as the Clix Card. DD Debit Card will be compatible with ATM's around the world, you will be used to pay users of ProfitZONE, you can get paid quicker and in your own currency (for International users).
In the future DD will be partnering with many merchants online and off to use the Debit Card and receive discounts.
4. Desktop Dollars Weekly Contest:
DD has contests every week for earning an extra $250. First off you have to be a top surfer (earner) for that week just to qualify...and believe me some of these people just never stop surfing. Then they randomly choose 3 people from the top 100 earners who will win the $250.
5. DreamMail:
DD has an email program called DreamMail. They send you emails if you sign up for it, and you click on the link to visit the sponsor. You can make extra money enrolling in this program, and since its inception, they have been having contests, where you have the opportunity to try to win up to $3000.
STANDARD INFORMATION:
1. Checking Your Account: You can check your account whenever you please, by logging in on the DD home page. The easiest way is by clicking on the Home Button that is on your ProfitZONE adbar which takes you directly to the DD home page. It reads Welcome to Desktop Dollars.com, "Are you a Member?" "Click Here" to Log into Your Account". Click on the "Click Here", and you will be directed to the Sign In page. Sign in using your user ID and password.
"Your Account" page loads. From this page you can check the following:
Your Referrals -
View your referrals,
Refer another friend,
and/or add a banner to your website.
Your Statistics -
View YOUR totals for THIS MONTH (which are now counted by ads viewed). View YOUR totals for PREVIOUS months.
View YOUR REFERRALS' totals for THIS MONTH. View YOUR REFERRALS' totals for PREVIOUS months.
Your Earnings -
View your February earnings, they will soon add March, April, etc.
Your Info -
Change your account information.
Change your email address.
Cancel your account.
Payment Info -
Select your payment method (check or Desktop Dollars Debit Card)
Select your minimum payment amount.
Print out the parental consent form (if you are under 18 years old).

DISADVANTAGES OF RUNNING PROFITZONE
1. Takes Up Valuable Space: Running ProfitZONE takes up valuable space on your monitor and some people don't want to sacrifice that inch at the top or bottom of their screen and it occasionally interferes with other actions you are involved in.</b>
2. Low payout: You have to remember that Desktop Dollars ProfitZONE adbar is unlimited hours of surfing and using your PC, therefore their pay is lower than some other Pay To Surf programs. So that can mean more hours of an annoying bar on your screen.
1. Verification Clicking: Desktop Dollars ProfitZONE, requires you to click on a "Continue" button in the adbar to verify that you are actually still using your PC or surfing the net.
GENERAL COMMENTS
I haven't received any payment yet from Desktop Dollars. I have been surfing since it's inception. I didn't meet February's qualification amount of surfing time to get paid with the April 21st payments that went out. But I do have enough hours for March, so I'm hoping to received compensation in May. I did have to put in many hours (111) to hopefully be paid $25. That is a lot of hours of watching ads in one month to get $25, but you can surf as much or as little as you prefer.
Even though I have to really use this bar a lot to achieve my own goals for receiving payment, I use it because I don't always have to be online. I like the fact that I can do my work, or write emails...and still get paid for doing that. Happy Surfing!
