Most likely if you get in with a group of people who are on the internet and start talking, auction sites are going to come up! However, most people only know about eBay auction site, so this is the one they talk about! Well, tonight, I'm going to talk about an auction site in which I want to introduce to you, my fellow readers and to the public who are curious!
Bidbay.com is an auction site on the web in which you wouldn't regret visiting! The owners of this site are very friendly and actually interact with you via their message boards and/or email if needed! The best part is, if you need an immediate answer, you are most likely to get one! Try that at eBay or Yahoo auctions! On those sites, you're going to get a form letter, but Bidbay.com replies personally!
Although Bidbay isn't as popular as eBay just yet, I honestly believe this site has potential! There are many categories for you to list your items in as well as special promotions to help your motivation! One of my favorites is the fact they give away money to people every day! The winners are either current sellers or bidders, however, if you do nothing, you win nothing! So far, I haven't won anything, but I know people who have and they really pay up! Would eBay do that? Oh geez, they barely want to give you a reply to an email, much less prizes!
When you register to sell or bid at Bidbay, you aren't required to give your credit card information. I personally feel this alone has it's pro's and it's cons. Pro's being, if you are some people, you don't have a credit card or a debit card. I don't have these and this gives me the chance to participate in the auction site if I wish. Also, many people don't want to share their credit card information due to internet privacy fears, so it's good for them as well. Now the cons... it opens doors for fakes and fraud. There are people in this world who if not verified will open many accounts at auction sites and bid on items, then not pay for them, which wastes both sellers and their time. And there are those who also will use this to scam people out of their money.
If you are headed to eBay to sell your items, you are headed to paying fees. I hate those fees! While they need some money to keep their site going, they also take a lot of money which I feel isn't needed! eBay has become a money hungry place and they know the sellers will pay because eBay is the most publicized auction site at this time! Okay, now, go log on at Bidbay, list, what the auction sell, and then it ends. You might as well leave your computer afterwards, because you aren't going to get an email saying you owe anything! It's free to list and sell at Bidbay at this current time! I've heard they will charge a listing fee somewhere down the line, but not this month, nor the past several months! So, if you have stuff you need to sell, forget the hassles of yard sales, go to Bidbay!!
Bidbay come is such a friendly atmosphere you are actually going to feel as if you are right at home! If you haven't been there yet, I ask that you do so today! Sign up and step in the chatrooms to say hello as well! If you are like me, you can have two browsers opened! One for chattin and the othe for bidding or selling! Come on by, I promise you now you aren't going to regret! Some people feel Bidbay isn't going to get as popular at eBay, but I feel it's going to come real close!
