Unfortunately, I don't get 'in' on the deals but the concept of the site is fabulous. It seem I just miss the deal, or I just don't have enough funds or...the deal is good but I really don't need the item.

The pooling of consumers to drive the price down works.

They did have a program where you earn mercata dollars and could use them to pay for up to fifty percent of the current purchase in which you are participating. I was able to utilize this program once before the changed the rules allowing for only twenty percent off.

I got a sixty minute phone card from AT&T which usually costs nineteen to twenty dollars for under a buck! That was a great deal!

I visit the site from time to time to see the current pools.
